Kobato Miku is the guitarist, vocalist, lyricist, and founder of the Japanese rock band Band-Maid. In 2013, Kobato, who had previously worked part-time at Akihabara 's At Home Cafe, wanted to form a band that would dress up in cute maid outfits and play cool music, so she gathered members together and formed Band-Maid.
On April 1, 2021, she started a solo project called "cluppo" and released her first single " PEACE&LOVE ". Since the announcement was made on April 1, it was thought that the launch of her solo project was an April Fool's joke, but on April 3, Kobato announced on Twitter that it was not a joke. It was described as: "A new music genre created titled "HIPPIE-POPPO". cluppo reinterprets the good old 70s music in a lovely and peaceful way."
