It's alright (watchable)
Okay, so this is the 4th time I've watched this Christmas special in a row, the first time I enjoyed, same with the 2nd time, but the 3rd time, I started to notice some problems and now- pretty much the same.
I'll say the pros first, the voice acting was fine and the songs were okay, nicely paced, some the animation was fine, and it does have some charm, but that's kinda about it.
The cons is that the writing is pretty bad, the characters are kinda bland and basic, the story was pretty whack and dumb, some of the dialogue was corny, the animation was pretty choppy at time with some the voice not matching the mouths and looks very cheap, and while the songs were fine, they added nothing to the story and probably was added to just fill the movie.
Overall, at worst, it's mediocre, and at best, it's decent, it's definitely not as bad as some say, but objective, it's definitely not good. I do see this having a cult following tho and being in the so-bad-it's-good territory. I would still watch it every year cuz of what whacky it is, but it's definitely not that good, it's mostly mid to decent.

She's Alive
Grandma Spankenheimer has a small store in the middle of the city. Grandson Jake works with her along with the rest of the family. Cousin Mel is greedy and hates Grandma's generous ways. She is so desperate to sell the store to tycoon Austin Bucks that she is willing to sabotage Grandma's fruitcake recipe. Then the song happens and Santa runs over Grandma.
Writing a story to a novelty song is not usually recommended. They even double-down with more songs. Acting out the song is cringe-worthy. Everything after that is either annoying or boring. The animation is lower grade. Despite all that, I'm invested in finding Grandma if only to get to the end. It would be more daring and fun if Grandma actually was killed by Santa. Of course, that would be asking too much for this Christmas special wannabe.

I wouldn't recommend it
Trite and tiring, the one-liners almost made me cry. My 4 year old left the room and ended up doing a puzzle. I don't know what age group this was written for, but the writer himself/herself didn't even want credit. As for the song, it's mildly amusing. At least it was a decade ago. There are many Christmas movies to watch. Although I've seen some many more times than this, they are still enjoyable. Whenever this comes on, I try to encourage my child to watch something else. One positive note, that allowed a vote of 2 instead of 1, is that it encourages good moral values. That would have been encouraging, if anyone were watching.
What's next? Broadway?
When this first came out as a song, it was amusing, a light chuckle along the lines of Weird Al's Christmas at Ground Zero. That was over a decade ago. Now someone's decided that we need a 50-minutes explanation of the backstory behind the song.
The storylines not bad...it's the sort of Christmas special that seems naggingly familiar, from the courtroom scene (Miracle on 34th Street) to the tycoon buying a locally run store (Gremlins 2). The animation is crude though, with a cookie-cutter feel to it. The producers apparently felt that we needed more songs by the same artist, all of which are lethargic one-verse ditties devoid of humor.
One thing I'll give credit to: The 'evil tycoon' at least is written by the books. But overall, this novelty of a video makes a better bookstop than anything else.

Movie bad, cousin hot
This movie makes me not want kids so they would never have to see this four fingered, fruitcake tasting , Ace Attorney courtroom drama abomination of a Christmas movie.
Cousin's hot though.
