It has been almost a year since Hoffa was arrested by the police for the bank robbery. Despite the fact that a long prison stay awaits, Hoffa clings to the belief that he and Annelie will marry.
Hoffa is in prison and, against his will, has started spending time with some of the inmates. Although Annelie and Hoffa love each other, they find it difficult to handle the situation.
