    I Love You

After the pilot, the producers have ironed out a few kinks but you still feel that they are still finding their feet.

However the series is taking shape here.

Ray's parents are still pushy and still come around the house. Marie even tried to break into their drawer as Debra locked it.

Robert ended up having a shower at Ray's house and broke the shower.

The gist of the episode is that after going for dinner with some friends.

Debra tells Ray that he does not openly display his affections enough. Ray never says I Love You to Debra.

Ray thinks is that his family never said such affectionate things and confronts his parents about it.

It was nicely worked how Ray's family are suddenly affectionate to each other and ends up embarrassing Debra.

Peter Boyle does an impersonation of Marlon Brando in this episode. He was compared to Brando when Boyle started out as an actor.

    Action speaks louder than words.

What's the big deal about not being able to say I LoVe You? What does Debra want from Ray? Action speaks louder than words. She knows Ray loves her why does he need to say it?
