    Best episode of the series!

If I had to pick one episode, Lucky Suit is my favorite. This is easily one of the funniest and most emotional ones, from Roberts many facial expressions to Maries raw emotions to show her love for her son. Wow! Just brilliant!

It really shows how wonderful and talented actors Brad Garrett and Doris Roberts are, and they both deserved their Emmy awards.

    A must see!

Doris Roberts is the queen πŸ‘‘

What an amazing performance from Doris Roberts in this episode - the emotional beats and the comic timing from her are exceptional. Brad Garrett gave one of his best ever performances too. The supporting cast getting opportunities to shine make for some of the best episodes and Robert has really grown over the seasons.

To me, Everybody Loves Raymond really hit it's stride in season 6 and was hitting every episode out of the park. I don't think it slowed down before it ended, which means there really isn't a bad season or even episode. It's a shame we will never get more episodes, but what they've given us is top quality tv.

    Humanity's Magnum Opus

"Lucky Suit" is quite possibly the greatest piece of media ever created. There are no words on God's green Earth that can describe the impact this episode had on my life, as well as many other's. Robert Barone should be crowned as the single best fictional character ever written. I think we should replace that golden disc on the Voyager 1 with a tape containing this episode and this episode alone, so that if humanity ever goes extinct aliens can have proof of how advanced of a civilization we once were. In fact, I bet those aliens are going to make a religion out of this episode. I know I would. Every frame of this episode is completely perfect and should be preserved in maximum security museums. A 400 page poem can be written about each individual zeptosecond of this work of art. This episode was sent by divine beings, as no mortal can be capable of writing such perfection. After watching this episode I nearly hanged myself due to the realisation that the pure witness of "Lucky Suit" will probably be the peak of my life. Nothing will ever top this masterpiece. 10/10 would reccomend.

This was one of two episode submissions that won Brad Garrett his first Emmy for Everybody Loves Raymond. The other was Raybert (2001). This was one of two episode submissions that won Doris Roberts her 2nd consecutive Emmy for Everybody Loves Raymond. The other was "Marie's Sculpture."
    • Goofs
When Agent Garfield receives the fax, he immediately frowns upon receiving it. The fax was lengthy, so it should have taken him some time to read the fax and then react. The actor likely reacted quickly just to keep the show moving.
    • Quotes

Marie Barone: [the front door swings open showing Robert with a look of crazed fury on his face, startling everyone] How did your interview go?

Robert Barone: Come here. Let me tell you about it.

Marie Barone: Didn't it go well?

Robert Barone: Oh, it was going okay, and then Agent Garfield read me a letter about crazy Robert in his lucky suit.

      Debra Barone: What?

Marie Barone: I never said crazy.

Raymond "Ray" Barone: Ma, what did you do?

Robert Barone: She faxed the FBI a letter about how she ruined my lucky suit.

Marie Barone: I wasn't sure it went through; it's the first time I ever used a fax machine.

Debra Barone: Marie, why don't you go into the kitchen? Robert, how about you stay here and... maybe blink a few times?

Robert Barone: Why would you do it? Why would you send a letter? The guy looked at me like I was a pathetic, candy-ass mama's boy.

Marie Barone: Well, then he seems awfully critical.

Robert Barone: HE'S THE FBI, MA! I WASN'T APPLYING FOR A JOB AT THE GAP!
