The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire

This episode was written in order to get rid of the character of Loretta, Cleveland's wife. Actress Alex Borstein - who voices Lois Griffin, Loretta, and many of the other female characters on the show - was tired of doing the voice, having thought that Loretta would be a one time character when she was first introduced.

When Stewie begins clothing himself after sleeping with the CPR baby, he has bare feet. When he slips his overalls on, he's suddenly wearing shoes.

The syndicated version of the episode cuts three scenes: The scene in which Peter's Portugese workers talk about peeing in the punch, the opening of the CPR class scene, in which Bruce announces he "sees a lot of smiles and has refreshments, and the closing scene of the CPR class scene, in which Bruce comments about no one touching the refreshments, and that he will take them home to his cats.
