Mark Hamil makes a debut as the Trickster, amidst his long career doing voices for animations. He also voiced the Trickster in later animations involving the Flash, and of course became well-known for the Joker for many years.
Unfortunately, I find both Trickster and Joker to be pretty annoying. Here, Trickster is also creepy, and a serial killer. He's already murdered twelve women and the episode begins as he tries to murder former detective and current love interest of Barry Allen, Megan Lockhart ... played by Joyce Hyser ... famous for her impressive flashing scene in Just One of the Guys.
In this episode, it seemed like Flash could have caught Trickster on several occasions before the end of the episode. I know they had to stretch it out, but they should have made it make more sense. He gets a way in a vehicle twice that Flash really should have caught him easily.
