One of the worst episodes of the series.

Chandler deserved better than Aurora. There's only one name I call someone who is married and has a boyfriend and getting some all at the same time. A big s***. Luckily they only last the episode.

    I hate this episode.

    Hoot

I like the bit where Monica is a bit funny and something funny happens due to her condition

Show already pulsating in top form only a handful of episodes in

And just like that Friends is already pumping out solid and top notch episodes on a weekly basis with only five episodes behind them. It took Seinfeld 10-12 to really find itself. Remarkable achievement, especially with six leads vying for camera time, but it's helped out by yet another excellent script, this time by Adam Chase and Ira Ungerleider. Matthew Perry is given even more room to stretch out in this one and does a magnificent job coming off innocent and scornful, elated and dejected. It's easy to see why he would continue to be a feature actor in movies and other TV shows after the success of Friends. Swiss actress Sofia Milos, a German speaking and ethnically Greek vixen, plays the swinging, liberal and promiscuous Euro stereotype without a fuss and with panache. Friends has already hit its stride in record time.

Matthew Perry Knocks It Out Of The Park

Matthew Perry knocks it out of the park in this episode. Whilst he is not the focal point if the episode, he steals it.

Plot In A Paragraph: After appearing in a dire play about Freud, Joey (Matt Le Blanc) lands a part as Al Pacino's butt double in a new movie. Meanwhile Chandler (Matthew Perry) starts dating Aurora, a girl who has a complicated love life, and Monica (Courtney Cox) tries to prove she can be laid back after Rachel (Jennifer Aniston cleans the apartment.

Once complaint in this episode is that when Le Blanc is in the shower you can see his shadow, and you blatantly see his is wearing shorts, but that is more than made up for by a fantastic turn by Perry.

Perry's performance is superb, as he deals with both the joy of the no strings attached relationship and the the jealousy that comes with such a relationship.

    • Trivia
This is the first episode that features 'The Rachel' haircut, a style that became a cultural sensation--ironically, Jennifer Aniston hated it.
    • Goofs
Where Joey is playing Al Pacino's "butt-double", Joey is supposedly naked but you can clearly see the shadow of a pair of shorts on the shower wall in front of him.

Dr. Ross Geller: [Monica is trying to convince the gang that she can be irresponsible, random, and a "kook"] All right, you madcap gal, try to imagine this: the phone bill arrives, but you don't pay it right away.

      Monica Geller: Why not?

Dr. Ross Geller: Because you're a 'kook'! Instead, you wait until they send you a notice.

Monica Geller: [a little uncomfortable] I could do that.

Rachel Green: Okay, okay, you let me go grocery shopping...

      Monica Geller: No problem!

Rachel Green: I'm not done yet.

      Monica Geller: Oh.

Rachel Green: *And... * I buy laundry detergent *But... * it's not the one with the easy-pour spout!

Monica Geller: *Why would someone do that?*

      [she catches herself]

Monica Geller: One might wonder... but I would be fine with that.

Chandler Bing: Someone's left a glass on the coffee table. There's no coaster. It's a cold drink. It's a hot day.

[Monica begins to squirm, and Chandler goes in for the kill]

Chandler Bing: Little beads of condensation are inching their way closer and closer to the surface of the wood...

Monica Geller: *Stop it!* Oh, my god... it's true. Who am I?

Dr. Ross Geller: Monica... you're Mom.

[Phoebe imitates screeching violins from "Psycho" and slashes air with imaginary knife]
