    Rachel's story ruins it

Joey's story in this one is pretty thin, though it is saved by Matt LeBlanc's fine acting and by that joke at the very end. Chandler's story is the best one, although it is a bit tired estranged family trope, and the emotions are a bit forced and a bit too much. But Matthew Perry does a great job, just like most of the times.

Rachel, on the other hand, is absolutely obnoxious here. Spoiled, manipulative, entitled... it is as if this episode was written so that the viewers would hate her character. And the story line is garbage - stealing your best friend's car and speeding with expired driver's license? Wow, that is so funny. They should have had her cause an accident and kill somebody, that would have been hilarious...

    Awesome!

Really fantastic. Kathleen Turner had a great scene with Cox and Perry. Really amazing.

    The One with Chandler's Dad

A bit of a thin episode this one, with all the plots only just warranting their run time.

It's fun, it's nice to see Matthew Perry looking healthier again, but this series hasn't been the show at its best.

Is it me or Rachel is beyond annoying??

Stealing someone's car when they specifically told you not to touch their car? She is so manipulative and spoiled it's not funny.

The snippy waitress at the drag show is played by Courteney Cox's then-brother-in-law Alexis Arquette, who had previously played a Central Perk customer in The One with Rachel's Sister (2000).
    • Goofs
In season 4, Rachel tells Gunther that her birthday is May 5th. Therefore, she is a Taurus - not an Aquarius.
    • Quotes

Rachel Green: Wait a minute - you let Ross drive the Porsche, and when I ask, you say you're the only one who's allowed to drive it.

Monica Geller: Yeah - well, he's my brother; and plus, he drives so slow, he could never hurt it.

Dr. Ross Geller: It's a car, not a rocket ship.

Monica Geller: Whatever. Ross, just replace the bulbs in the brake lights after you're done.
