    Jumping Thunder! Westward No!

Instead of the Hollywood episodes that started season 5, this was the best they could come up with for the beginning of season 6. A lot is talked about the jumping the shark episodes of that California episode, which I think was ridiculous. Season 5 episodes were generally really good.

This three parter set on a dude ranch of all places, was more the beginning of the end. It was pleasant enough but basically silly and lame. In fact the upcoming third part I believe will have Fonzie doing something more ridiculous than waterskiing I've a shark. He's going to do some rodeo work. Most significant part of the show is Thunder the wrangler girl liking Richie and the Fonz liking her. Ooh what will happen?

    • Trivia
Although the Cunninghams are there to save the ranch that belongs to Marion's uncle, he is never seen onscreen.
    • Goofs
A Pennsylvania Railroad train being pulled by GG1 electric locomotive is seen, suggesting the family was carried west by that train. Not only was Milwaukee not served by the PRR, the GG1 was used only in the Northeast Corridor.
