    Good final episode

I think the opening sketch at the barber shop has the strongest material in the episode. The slapstick and visual storytelling here is very good. I particularly like some clever uses of various objects and how everything comes to a head.

The middle scene at the village fate is good and makes me smile, but I do not find it quite as funny as other moments. His use of the teddy bear is an amusing idea, but the joke is not consistently funny enough for me throughout its allotted screen time. That being said, Rowan Atkinson makes the best out of it with his wonderful facial expressions and mannerisms as always.

The final scene at St Pancras is a solid finish with Atkinson showcasing plenty of funny body language. How it all ends up is a typically hilarious concept to behold.

I like how he shave the middle of that kids head. They ripped off that scene in how I met your mother

    • Trivia
This episode was actually made in 1995, but was released as a video-exclusive episode. It did not receive a television showing in the UK until 2006.
    • Goofs
The man with the ponytail picks up the same magazine at the barbershop twice.
    • Crazy credits
The closing credits features a montage of travelling vehicles that represents Mr Bean's journey, eventually ending with a shot of the Moscow Red Square.

The theme song is played in a Russian style.
    • Alternate versions
Because Mr. Bean contains little to no dialogue, episodes that air on Francophone networks are aired in English with French subtitles. That is not the case with this episode, as it was actually dubbed in French. There are other differences: the "Hit the Headmaster" sequence is completely cut out; different background music is used at the pet show; and none of the stock footage after the train to Moscow closes its doors is used, with the ending credits simply playing over a black screen, and the French voice actors are actually credited as well.
