      thrilling and interesting

d@bbe is a very good low-budget horror thriller in the traditional sense. It is not a ghost story,or revenge story or haunting story.Briefly The story of dabbe is about possession of internet-world.Jinns and madness meet on 'world wide web' for hellish torment. OK, Acting is terrible but no problem because It has shocks and suspense, especially in the second half. And listen; It's better than some of those movies which make up making millions of dollars despite having no affect on the viewer. If you wonder how we make a good and haunted supernatural thrillers without money, without good equipment, without actors this is your type of films, heyy, people if u haven't seen this movie yet, go to your local movie library and rent it!!!(there is English sub problem with first version you have yo find second version-right one!)

Dabbe is truly a great Turkish horror film

Dabbe is truly a great Turkish horror film. As good as Hollywood-horror-flicks, even better. A f******-freaky Turkish horror film ! This film gave me a f****** fright. It truly scares your **** off, no doubt about it. I don't know what other people are talking about when they say it was stupid or bad or have other negative things to say...It is definitely not a sloppy piece of work and I think it served it's purpose very well.

This is a Turkish horror flick my brother persuaded me to check it out. I had and still have pure prejudice to Turkish films. I am biased when it comes to Turkish movies. And my brother was recommending " a horror film" ! A Turkish horror !!! We Turks can't even shoot a proper thriller let alone a horror. Well after a lot of persuasion I agreed to watch Dabbe with him.In the end I was fascinated by this film, actually I was scared stiff to tell you the truth.

Dabbe scared the sh** out of me like no other horror flick in the last years. Gives me goosebumps even when I write the name of the film. You should look at my arms, just thinking about the film has just given me the gooses. Absolutely hair-raising and freaking film. This is freaky I'm telling you that mates. It is so freaky. One of the freakiest I've ever seen.

I went to a DVDshop the next day to get this film. I was glad to see that this DVD also featured English subtitles, so I can show it to others as well. If you can order please do feel generous and get this film. It's truly great. I can guarantee that this horror film is going to make the hairs on your neck stand on end.

Visual effects as well as the well-thought story is pretty satisfying. There are tons of spooky moments, freaky voices and lots of jumpy scenes. The creepy voices and terrifying screams are perfectly done and make your hair stand on end. The only drawback and bad side of this flick is that the actors' weak performances. The acting was unfortunately not as good as the film in my humble opinion. However, it's worth watching. Perhaps it won't be the scariest horror film of all time for some of you but it will definitely make you shiver.

So, if you fancy demons, gins (djin), beings beyond comprehension, spiritual substances/beings, mental and psychological type of horror films this one's just for you then. Don't miss it out.

      Too much prejudice

Dabbe is the best Turkish horror film ever. Most of people thinks that the film is very bad.But i don't think like them. There are some reasons.

First this film is first cinema experience for the director. He is trying to do something. And i think he is very good for the first time.He covers the films expense. They have too much impossibilities but they were made it.Everybody knows that the Turkish horror film sector is very bad.But this film is different to them. Its effects are too realistic against the others. And its theme is not used before. It uses the Islamic belief.Dabbe will come the world at the doomsday. This film trying to uses it.After that too many people gone this film. But they have too much prejudice. That gives negative energy to the film.

There are bad things in film.First is the players. They are really bad.The second one is dialogs.it may be better.

Finally; this film isn't a classic.it is not perfect. But it was tried. And i think its successful.

''Dabbe'' is better than ''pulse'' and ''kairo''

When I watched 'Dabbe'I was shocking.Because The budget of this film is only 100.000 Dollar. This film is about the doomsday of Islamic belief. This is very hard story for a movie maker, especially in Turkey.Because there is a lot of taboo about Islamic themes. The director of 'Dabbe' ''Hasan Karacadag'' is very courageous and first I want to congratulate him for his courage. The word 'Dabbe' appears in a number of verses of the Qur'an, although Surat an-Naml: 82 is the only one that refers to this particular event that will happen in the final times. When we set out the features of the 'Dabbe' as it appears in this verse, the following picture emerges:

      1. The 'Dabbe' is a moving like hair(The cables of internet)

      2. The 'Dabbe' is the product of the earth.(silicon-computer)

      3. The 'Dabbe'is a thing or creature that speaks and gives a particular message, which is addressed to all of mankind.

      4.The mean of 'dabbe'(Sanskritic language):Things,like spider's web

So this movie says:'Dabbe'is internet The edit of 'Dabbe'is so interesting.I could not see ever this paradoxically storytelling in another horror movies. Also 'dabbe' using internet for deep horror impact.I watched 'kairo' and pulse.I liked 'kairo' but pulse is very weak.Ithink The success of Dabbe is secret in this word;''DJinns''.'Dabbe' does'not use Ghost, souls, zombie, vampire etc.It use the scary of Jinns. In the mirror life and in the Shadow life you can feel the power of them. They are Jinns and they want to contact with people. They are using internet and they want to connect with the brain of human. They are copying you and they shown you, just ''other piece of YOU'.What is the other piece of you;If you wonder please watch 'D@bbe' immediately! The doomsday is very near!

      Dabb@: Signs of doomsday!

I saw this movie a few day ago. It's not originally and unique movie but have a few newness in Turkish Horror cinema. Dabbe is first movie of KIYAMET(Doomsday) trilogy. We wait for "Deccal and Mehdi" and last movie "Isa Mesih". A director used metaphysical and technological elements together in a movie. This is a revolution for Turkish cinema culture. Writer and Director Hasan Karacadag knows Asian, especially Japanese horror movie well. Dabbe remind me Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "Kairo" and Hideo Nakata's "Ringu". He adapted Islamic believes to Asian horror aesthetic and telecommunication technology. Dabbe is a sign of end of world. Movie has inspired by Neml Sura in Koran. Director preferred darkness and and blurred colors. Sciences are not enough for explain some events. As in this movie. Sound effects are very successfully.

      I recommend watching!
