    Shady Goings On...

We meet the elusive cloaked Shadow, and I have to say he's not a beau, quite dark and quite dim, incredibly grim, and he lives in his own dingy grotto.

    Here comes the padded episode.

The Doctor's been kidnapped by the Shadow, the henchman of the Black Guardian, the mission is now seriously under threat.

I had a feeling with it being a long story, that there would be a lull, and true enough it happened here, this really was a non event episode, very little actually happens here.

The Shadow is a little bit of a rubbish foe, a bit dim and a bit of a ranting nut job, when he says to the Doctor 'do you think I'm a fool?' huge shouts of YES.

The silliness wasn't restrained enough, there's too much of it, even the music has become silly in parts, it needed someone to say enough is enough.

It's flawed, but it's still of a pretty good standard though, 6/10.
