If The Glove Fits, You Must Acquit

Frank Daniels flirts with pretty Betty Howe at the restaurant where they are each having lunch. He ruins one of her gloves, but promises amends with a box full of them. The next morning, he comes down to breakfast and discovers Miss Howe is the new maid. Hastening to buy her silence, he hurries to the store, where he purchases the gloves, but must flee before paying. His wife, the formidable Kate Price has just come in!

It goes on for there. Daniels had a considerable Broadway reputation, but though capable enough in the longer shots, he's not particularly interesting in the close-ups and two shots. Miss Howe is pretty, and the whole situation is fairly humorous.
