Murderous Memories: The Walls of Memory

French murder mystery

I've been seing a lot of French murder mysteries lately, and they all have a common thread: emotional dramas caused by relationships. This movie is no different.

The murder is not too complicated, but it deals with multiple generations.

The acting is very good, and as it is France, the star of the show is a pretty, slim, petite détective.

I came across this movie by chance as i was surfing channels. I stopped and watched it from beginning to end.

It's a simple movie but enjoyable, plus watching the beauty of France is always a delight.

Anyone who likes procedural murder mysteries in a foreign context will most likely enjoy this movie.

Cheers.

a corpse in wall

Not real generation but fair portrait of connection between generation.

A body in wall of a building.

A tenacious detective. And a not so simple case . Many cliches defining crime french films but the story remains little more than interesting, offering, not so surprising, more portraits of people involved but clues for the case itself.

So, correct crafted, it is a nice portrait of confrontation against past , a revenge who defines a long way to solve old grieves and answers to crisis without real solutions.

Not last, a good slice of history as prize for viewer , with some questions about significance of radical decisions.
