In addition to the usual House stuff, we see the return of Foreman, Chase, and Cameron, in different roles, yet a serious part of the plot. This episode is about a woman who works in a morgue, preparing the bodies cosmetically. Suddenly she has an incident where the bodies, many of them hideously emaciated, attack her, zombie like.
Then the story goes on. As the team tries to treat her, she sees her mother across the room. She is not there, but she seems to offer advice to the young woman. Of course, this is part of her diagnosis. Again, there is a bitter rivalry among the team candidates which get whittled down. One of them is bright but seems rather dangerous. Now the die is cast.

A funeral home cosmetologist begins hallucinating, and it is up to House and his team of six (or is it seven?) to solve the problem. As this was broadcast just one week before Halloween, it is full of scary images. The sick young lady, very nicely played by Azura Skye, imagines corpses attacking her, her long-dead mother sitting in her hospital room, and even a long dead relative of House's popping in for a visit. House has several run-ins with the now-blonde Cameron, and has to let one doctor go at the end of the episode. Who will it be? Amber Dudek continues to amaze as the bitchy blonde doctor, who actively plots to get rid of the competition. Foreman is back, looking for a job, and Chase has a cameo performing surgery on the bedeviled woman. Wilson is relegated to one quick scene, where he eggs House onto greater glory. The business with the long-dead mother is a heart breaker. Be prepared.

- GoofsAmber claims that the patient kept asking for milk because she knew subconsciously that dairy counters the effects of ergotamine poisoning. In the Bicycle Day story of Albert Hoffman discovering the psychotropic effects of LSD, he famously requested milk, but beyond that dairy is not a medical solution for ergotamine poisoning.
