Worth watching

This is something different.

This gets better and better when it proceeds from one episode to another episode.

Character development is also good with very interesting storyline.

And is very emotional for sure .

Watch the first season, stop after that.

The first season is wonderful. It has an interesting premise, a immersing cast of characters. The only drawback is that it plays on your heart strings.

Recently the second season started and it is terrible. The show changed direction completely. It went from an unique, slow passing experience where a being attempts to figure out humanity, to a weirdly overly sexualized anime with "wacky humor" and outrageous characters. The show tries to blame it on the passing of time, but it makes little sense. Neither are the changes to the core rules of the magic system.

Do yourself a favour, get a box of tissues out, watch the first season and turn it off after.

Best emotional anime with unique story of travel

I have watched many sad anime like elfen lied, vampire knight etc. But never thought a normal travel story can be that sad. It is the 1st anime of its genre.

A perfect adaptation (for now)

I've read the source material and was thrilled when I found out that it got an anime. After watching the first 2 episodes i can tell you it's just as good as the source. It tells the story of an immortal being learning about emotions, making friends, making enemies and experiencing the world. It's an amazing journey that I highly recommend and one that will make you teary eyed more than once.

A new modern classic

With the end of anime like attack on Titan s4 part 1 and wonder egg priority last season, the spring season has started off with bangers like Vivy, 86 and to your eternity. Out of which I think only to your eternity has the capability of becoming a modern classic and be remembered throughout ages like akira, perfect blue and grave of fireflies. This is probably the only anime that can make one cry in episode 1, And I think the journey that is going to start is going to be devastating and beautiful at the same time.

Amazing

So much potential. The animation looks great, the story seems appealing and the music is amazing. So far I'm really into this.

The best looking anime of this season

Well, the first episode just got released and I can say for sure this anime is something special and one of its own kind. The story is quite unique in itself and is kinda sad and emotional but what else would you expect from the man who also wrote A Silent Voice. The story revolves around 'It', a mysterious immortal being sent to the Earth with no emotions nor identity who is able to take the shape of those around that have a strong impetus and thus starts an endless journey of it travelling thought different landscapes and thus meeting all kinds of people and experiencing all sorts of emotions.

The art style also looks fabulous and suits the theme of the anime.

1st season is very good

I recommended everyone to watch the 1st season, it's extremely good.

I had high hopes for the 2nd season, but... I have no idea what happened, it's just bad... Not horrible, but it's not good... I was super disappointed, especially after such a good 1st season. Don't waste time watching the 2nd season. And it seems they're working on a 3rd season, that sounds crazy, after such a messy 2nd season. Nothing made sense, it was just random stuff happening and the magic of the 1st season was completely erased, destroyed... It's almost like a prank, a gotcha... Usually this kind of stuff happens in western productions, it's very rare to happen in Japanese Anime.

Emotional

I never expected this to happen as I am not a big manga reader, but despite it being predictable I just can't help crying. It's off to a great start!

FIRST EPISODE.

23 minutes will destroy you emotionally and then it will continue to destroy you as the episodes increase. This is a masterpiece.

Looking good

Pretty complex plot, and an interesting unraveling of events so far. Just saw ep3 and even though it involved the cliché flashback style, it was done so well and isn't out of context at all. I'm glad it's gonna be 20eps long so hopefully they can stretch out the development and growth of the characters in a natural and unforced manner. Man this really got me hooked and i really look forward to each week's episode.

wow + tear up after 20 minutes !

I'm not familiar with the original material, but if the manga is any close to the anime, it must be an instant classic. I tend to think that Japanese anime shows are just like Japanese food. They have "some" recipes, and every cook have their own twists on them. I can "eat" almost everything and point out all the ingredients by now, but this one, it's some fine "cuisine" where I feel I'm discovering new tastes. I can't shake off the "Wow" and the eyes tearing up just after 20 minutes into it, even though I feel a little bit like it all was pushed down my throat... this show's only limited by the format, which is a shame, it should be 10 minutes longer and benefit from a slightly deeper character development, I should have been crying at the end of episode one, not just tearing up. A definite 10 though, it's art and story telling at it's best (for that short format). The animation is impressive... well everything is just really, really good. I don't know if it's an indy studio or a small one, I didn't see any big names on the intro, but I'm sure will be looking forward for their work. I've seen 6 episodes so far, they all come with their own thing, not once disappointed.

Its amazing but sad. So far the best anime ever.

The anime is very simplistic but probably the best sad/ emotional anime. It even has good comedy and it will pull on your emotional strings a lot. Very promising so far. Fantastic :)

Definitely Unique

It's definitely unique and original and holds some potential with the mysterious finish that it had. That being said I most likely won't watch the next season partly because the story is quite slow and uninteresting at times. Beautifully made and I see why it is receiving excellent reviews however it's not up my alley.

Strange, philosophical and emotional

I found to your eternity to be a very interesting and brave show, it reslly experiments with emotions and attachements like few other anime shows. It is almost structured around arcs that are very short and intensive and the main character debelops a lot each and every time. The people it gets to know are interesting and different and the world seems vast and intriguing. Soundtrack is also great!
