It is always Linda Perelli who seems to be the weak link.

She drinks too much, breaks the rules that Dolly has laid down, she is suspicious of Dolly and Linda does not know who her new boyfriend really works for.

In this episode Dolly tells Linda all about Carlos and tells her to get rid of him. Dolly also makes an important discovery about Harry when she finds out who the fourth man could be.

An important clue is her dog barking at a closed door when she visits the fourth man's girlfriend.

The police as always seem to be a few paces behind but now Detective Inspector Resnick is told to back off over the Harry Rawlins case.

There is a great scene with Resnick having a breakdown knowing he has been passed over promotion again.

The face on Linda when she sees Carlos being cosy with Arnie Fisher. I would have thought the white suit and white shoes might had been a clue. Not the dress code for a machismo Italian mechanic who wants to be a racing driver.
