I used to enjoy this show but since the introduction of Mosley it has gone downhill rapidly. Her acting is wooden and she appears to be copying Linda Hunt's character. I do not know Nia Long as a actress, she is probably a good actress but find her acting here very wooden and fake. The writers are also trying to find something for her character to do so she seems to pop in the most strangest of places with the weakest of reasons to be there???? Grainger was not in every episode and when he did appear it was for a legitimate reason.
I do believe this series has lost its way..... you need to go back to the drawing board.

It's time to bring Heddy back. Nia Long isn't a bad actress but she doesn't fit in this role. We watch this show every week even though it doesn't have much depth but we do find it entertaining. Lates since Nia Long has been their leader, I don't like this show at all. Fix the cast and get back to what made this fun to watch. Find another job for Nia to do where she does fit. Until then, we will probably watch another show instead.
For a spin-off the series started reasonably good and got better while it went along. But as with most series that go over the 5th season, because of lack of inspiration, the relationships became more important. So from an action series it slowly becomes a soap.
And then the characters/actors ... Also in this the series started quite well but especially since series 9 some terrible changes/additions have been made.
Basically they should stop with all 3 series of NCIS. The original is going from badf to worse, NCIS LA is going in the same direction, while NCIS Orleans has been bad from the start. Create something new mr. Bellisario, these have been dragged out too long and it´s getting painful to watch.

I'm not sure if the writers changes or the director was clueless, but the acting was ridiculous! These actors have been doing this show for many years, just let them act!!! I can't believe they've screwed this show up so badly. Fire whomever is new and get back on track!

NCIS LA is not the show it use to be, it is in one word...tired.
Since the cast has had a revolving door , an obvious sign of fatigue, the lose of key folks and the popping in an out of main characters with weak storylines it is a struggle just to watch the attempt to continue.
The constant sneaking in of virtue signalling is none stop and iI suppose the writers, both new and old have gotten the memo to satisfy the network AND NOT THE FAITHFUL VIEWERS.
Horrible, horrible & horrible. So, so tired of the Deek's BS, suddenly they are nothing more than whiny children while trying to portray I am woman hear me roar is more prevalent, as it is in many shows.
The only saving grace is Gerald McRainey, bless his heart, trying to hold the pieces of this show together but instead is now just the grumpy old man of the right. Confused by the "woke-ism" of the new society of the few, once again not thinking about the faithful who have supported the show for 12 seasons.
Time for it to go but whatever replaces it will surely be worst if the network has it's way.

This used to be one of our favourite shows to watch but they have ruined it with Rowntree and the new girl- they are both so annoying. Their lines are forced and pathetic and she is just a terrible actress 😢 bring Hetty back and get rid of these two, please!!!

Perhaps it's time to call it on this one. The last couple of seasons were horrible. Surprised to see a new one coming.

I just watched 10/13/09's NCIS and NCIS:LA back to back. These two shows weren't separated at birth, they were born in entirely different dimensions.
NCIS (and earlier, JAG) showed a terrific understanding of morality and honor. Today's NCIS episode explored the concepts of duty, doing the right thing, obeying legal rules of engagement, and the consequences of following immoral orders.
This was followed by NCIS:LA, in which our two heroes jimmy their way into an innocent civilian's home because they "fear she MAY be in trouble," and then take the opportunity to plant listening devices all over it with no warrants in evidence anywhere (she wasn't even a suspect). Excuse me, what happened to propriety, legality, constitutional rights? The characters on NCIS:LA continually act as if these things just don't exist.
It gets tiresome to watch the two main characters act as if every unlocked front door constitutes "probable cause" and an invitation for them to intrude with guns drawn. Maybe that's life in LA, but in Arizona, Missouri, Virginia, or Georgia, these guys would be red jelly within a week.
I was ready to complain to Bellisarius (who in the past has been exemplary as far as getting this stuff right) but then I discovered NCIS:LA is done by a separate production company. Let me tell you, it shows.
This show does to military honor what pornography does to sex.

I only ask because I've been with the show from the start. That makes me feel I SHOULD stick with it even though I really just want it to end.
It was a really tight show with good plots. Now it's increasingly becoming a soap with weak, implausible story lines. The 2 male leads have taken to bickering like an old married couple. Identical to Hawaii five o and the reason that show became unbearable.
Please bring the show to an end while the memories of good episodes aren't too distant

The show follows the same pattern episode after episode. There's a firefight (one after another). Bad guys, as usual, step out in the open, get shot. During the fights the characters often trade jokes and inappropriate comments for the situation. Nobody jokes around during a firefight. A car gets shot and it flips over. How? A car gets shot near it's gas tank and explodes. Gas tanks do not explode when shot. Propane tanks get shot and explode. Propane tanks do not explode when shot. Peter Cambor has to act like the resident idiot geek. The show could be great if not for the dopey actions of the characters and the Hollywood cliche filled script.

Why oh why did someone think it necessary to provide us with another version of NCIS when the one we had was perfectly acceptable? This Los Angeles version is pathetic and wooden. The acting is at best amateurish and I really cannot understand what Linda Hunts character is all about? Chris O'Donnall was much better in Greys Anatomy and is just about the only decent actor in this series, his partner, Adam Jamal Craig needs to get an attitude change and comes across as having a huge chip on his shoulder as well as needing to go back to acting school, he really is not credible.
The plots are flawed and almost totally unrelated to the Navy, the nearest Naval Base is miles away from LA anyway???
As far as I am concerned the producers of this series have tried to cash in on the success of the original NCIS and this should be the one and only series they make. Forget about making any more and let Bellisarius keep on making the original NCIS with Mark Harmon and his team who are by far producing one of the best programs on television.

Sorry, people - I have watched enough episodes since it started and have to say this show doesn't do it for me. It is a pale imitation of NCIS, mostly just action, chases, etc. The cast has only one member that has any real acting talent (Linda Hunt). Chris O'Donnel trying to look tough and just mostly looks ridiculous. I have seen him in a few movies and he mostly looked ridiculous in them too. Kensi, you really don't have much personality and cannot be compared to Ziva. In general, this team just doesn't give the impression that they are a team as each seems to go off in his (or her) own direction or work only in pairs. If a show intends to present the cast as a "team" they really need to work on being a team, not just a group of individuals. I don't see much harmony here at all.

First I have not watched NCIS Los Angles from the beginning. But of the episodes I have watched have been less stellar. The writing is lame and juvenile. And the acting is amateur. The best thing has been when John M. Jackson was on. I am at a loss as to why it has lasted as long at it has.

The story lines have become increasingly and dialogue dumber and dumber.
I don't know how the actors stand such stupidity.
Get rid of the guy with the dirty hair.

I watched a couple of episodes since I love the original series NCIS. Why is this even have the name NCIS in the title ? They act more like secret agents than naval agents. The one full episode I could stomach dealt with the characters discussing how they hid their outside identities from people. LL Cool J's character had taken a wine class so he could pose as a wine buyer. I only turned in because I love Linda Hunt plus few other of the actors but it isn't enough to make me want to keep watching.
Chris O'Donnell has never been a favorite of mine, but was willing to give him a chance - he blew it.

Poor Chris O'Donnell, type cast into the "Batman and Robin" character again. I cannot help but to see haunting similarities to the Batman movies, an elderly matron who does all the same tasks as Alfred, a secret NCIS-cave, and the NCIS mobile (which is a souped up hot rod). Perhaps next will be the NCIS signal, which will be set up in a lighthouse to keep the naval aspect intact. This show would have been fine if they had not tried to pawn it off as a NCIS spin-off. Too bad they cannot relaunch the series under it's own name, with no correlation to NCIS or the military. It would be a decent show if it was a civilian agency using ultra sophisticated equipment, similar to Tom Clancy's Deep Black books.
Latest episode, the new IT geek lady has mote testosterone than the Navy Seals. Try to make the story exiting and sneak in an unrealistically "strong female character" Nell was much better written, with smarts and character.
This show just does not work for me. The original NCIS is believable because of the cast. This cast is just not believable, Linda Hunt is a very good actress. But this is not a roll for her, it is not a believable position. The story lines are too quick and lack the original shows great writing. The 2 main characters are good but does not over come the negatives. As for the rest of the cast not bad but not good either. Like i said it just doesn't work for me. In the first airing we saw a much more believable person in Linda Hunts role. I was disappointed when the series started but I did give it a try and watched several episodes. NCIS Los Angeles is no longer setup in my DVR to auto record. Thank goodness we still have the original!
Good cast, good acting and nice dialogues with a pleasant touch of comedy. Suffers from the same problems as the other NCIS shows which is that they have no business investigating the vast majority of cases they end up investigating. Although that could be tolerated, the stories and the plans they put in place are completely idiotic and do not make a lick of sense most of the time, making a potentially great show something rather painful to watch. Writing seems to slightly improve along the seasons, so this show might yet reach an average level. It would be a good thing as well if writers could stop them investigating cases of terrorism, counterfeiting and other completely unrelated to the navy
