So many good moments here.
The scene between Rebecca and Ted talking about their fathers were very well done and appropriate. Especially Jason killed that performance.
Great lines all over the place.

What a great and a touching episode. It makes you sad but it also makes you laugh. Great work from all the actors though.
Well written and beautifully acted. This ensemble is something special and we look forward to watching Ted Lasso every Friday evening. I hope my funeral is this touching!

Great writing. Probably the best screenplay in the series and one of the best I saw on TV. Jokes were weirdly funny, I lauged on very unexpected times.
This is absolute new to television: A humor that doesn't respect timing and breaks expectation: You think this scene will be pure feels? Think again, here is a joke!
It is good to see someone inovating, not like some series about a precinct or a super store that just rips off The Office.
The acting is awesome, good luck to whoever will be against Sudeikis, Hannah and Juno next emmys.

Another great Ted lasso episode
Great acting from Jason Sudekeis and Hannah Waddingham
Solid balance between drama and comedy
Ted lasso proves once again why it's one of the best comedies right now but also why it has the best dramatic moments as well.

What an episode. Another tear jerker with two wonderful performances from Ted & Rebecca. The cuts of them pouring their hearts out was some beautiful cinema. This season has been different than the first but still as wonderful.

This episode just kicks you hard in the sads. It does have happier moments. If you have lost someone, you get this episode.
While the episode it self wasnt bad, a lot of it didnt really hit for me. Had to pause several times just because of what I would call the bad kind of cringe.
First season felt a lot more grounded, while this season overall seems way more over the top and exaggerated. Felt like it just boiled over in this episode and that it needs to ease up a bit.

Most of the negative comments about this and other episodes start with "this is supposed to be a football show". Those people saying that clearly do not know how to appreciate a good tv show without labeling.
Watch the episode, think of the message, enjoy the beautiful ride of the only show in tv today that makes you think.
Homework for today: think about those you have lost. Think about how you grieve. Think about how you may be blaming yourself for letting them go without telling them how much you love them.
Then, if you do not have an answer, go ahead. Be critical.

Series 1 felt natural - it was funny and heartwarming in equal measure.
But series 2, too often, feels as though it's forcing it. Episodes like this are so full of obvious tearjerker bait that it eventually feels unrealistic and forced. Too much of one thing in one episode does not work.

Laughter through tears, my favorite emotion. This episode delivered that in spades! I was crying through Ted's story and then he asked her if she was going to charge him for this session. I laughed through my sobs, it felt wonderful. Great episode, it may be my favorite so far.

I thought this was a brilliant episode. It was sad and poignant, but at the same time hysterical. I think all the comic relief elements really offset the tragedy of people's lives that come bubbling to the surface during a sad event. To some it is just a social obligation that do not take it too seriously. A great display of the defense mechanisms of dealing with grief and awkward situations. I was crying (from laughing) at the end of the funeral scene. I do think the writing and characters are masterful. All the different plot lines that started, ended and continued with this episode. I look forward to each new episode.
Still have Rick Astley singing in my head, what a fantastic episode. Great acting, great writing, Kudos to the crew. This season for me has been a lot deeper for me and this episode was a perfect example of this. It brought back memories for me of a dear lost friend, whose life and death will never be forgotten. It was interesting to see how we all deal with death in different emotional ways and the way that was perfectly portrayed.

This episode is one of the best I've laughed I've cried Thanks for bringing us Ted Lasso.
This episode fell short for me. It feels like they're tipping the show too far in the drama/romance area and it's becoming less and less about the team. The understand the show isn't solely about futbol but it is definitely one of the reasons I love the show. I'm all for the drama and romance too but it's like they're inflating that part of the story so much the balloon is close to bursting. Hoping that they focus more on on-field drama and comedy next season. At this rate, I'm worried it's going to turn into a soap opera soon..
I'm not trying to tear the show apart as I really love it and want many more seasons.. but Ted has, more often than not, not been acting like himself. The breakdown he had in season 1 was a special moment because it showed that even the most uplifting person can suffer from crippling anxiety. Now he's having panic attacks every episode and it's getting a little out of control.

This is one of the best episodes in ted lasso , the acting was magnificent especially by Hannah she was killing it from the starting of the episode Also Jason he was killing it too.

Heartfelt episode, but.. Felt a bit boring? I'm sure everyone will eat the episode up because of it being sappy but I wasn't feeling this one too much. Don't get me wrong it was still good, but I enjoyed lasts weeks episode more.

Another terrible episode. Ted Lasso was one of my favourite shows but the past two episodes have become soapy tv. Not up to the usual, funny and entertaining shows. I'm not sure that I'll keep watching if this is now the new standard of Ted Lasso. Ted Lasso needs to stick to its original plot and build on Ted's football relationship with the Richmond community.

For any reviewer here who says this was a bad episode, or suggests this is proof the series has gone downhill and/or lost its way, I have some advice for you:
1) Abide by the adage "if you don't like my story, write your own" and follow that up by...
2) stop threatening to quit watching the damn thing and just quit watching. There's really no point, because it's clear that you're not really paying attention and/or just don't get it. So...
3) don't let the boot room door hit your ass on the way out.
