I just happened to watch the anime to pass the time but i got addicted to watching it. Its great anime series;-)
The original premise was moderately unique but it quickly turned into a more generic Harem anime.
That said during the three current seasons there are times where the show again rises to a higher level making it worth muscling through the lack luster filler.

Peak anime and definitely a 10/10! The story turned out way better than I ever expected.
The energy I felt while watching this series-oh my, it will be impossible to forget such a masterpiece.
I don't want it to be over. It was so amazing and perfect-my favorite anime by far. I wish there was one more episode just to show them all happy, but nonetheless, it was a beautiful story. I didn't expect to actually tear up a little through out the series and at the end.
The final season was incredible, and I'm going to miss this show so much. I enjoyed every moment of it, with unforgettable characters. Thoka and Kurumi are my favorites. The story and animation get better with every season, introducing new characters and plot twists.
Even the intro's and music rock! It's frustrating how underrated this show is.

This is a quite fun anime with good characters and an MC that you will love/hate sometimes.
The first and a half seasons are more relaxed, focusing on the characters, comedy and fanservice, the second half of season 2 and seasons 3 and 4 focuses more on action and story development and have parts of mistery and season 5 (for me the best one) finishes a big part of all the story we know (except if you know the light novel's or you focuse on the last scene).
Sadly seasons 4 and 5 have CGI because of low budget (at least season 5) but are still enjoyable. I hope we get a season 6, movie, OVA or spin off because this show deserves it.
The order to watch this anime is:
1. Season 1
2. OVA 1:Date to Date (in this page appears as ep.13 of season 1)
3. Season 2
4. OVA 2: Kurumi Star Festival (in this page appears as ep. 11 of season 2).
5. Movie: Mayuri Judjement (You can watch it if you want but its not cannon).
6. Season 3
7. Season 4
8. Spinn off: Date a Bullet: Dead or bullet
9. Spinn off: Date a Bullet: Nightmare or Queen
10. Season 5.

Where do I start.... So on August 27th 2022, I was on my bed because I was sick and bored. I came across this anime, and something made me wanna watch it, so I did. When I watched it the first time, god knows how addicted I was to it. I was so captivated by everything, the character design, the comedic moments, the action, the conversations, everything captured my heart. I ended up finishing Date a Live Season 4 after only one day, because it was so captivating and I just couldn't get enough of it. When I learnt Kurumi saved Shido 200+ times before, it really did feel like I recovered from my sickness. This was my favourite anime back then, and I just wish it got more love, it's so damn underrated it's unacceptable.
