A movie for all; a lot better than animation made in occident.

There is an indisputable fact in the world of entertainment: if a villain surpasses the hero in charisma, he can never die permanently. Frieza reappears thanks to the efforts of his loyal minions and instead of conveniently using his power to gain influence and subjects, he decides to take revenge and in the most clumsy way possible, put at risk everything he can potentially earn. That is another secret of the villains: they are all idiots thanks to their inordinate ego. The movie offers its fans many lovable characters in a story that fast-forwards to a climax with morals and a couple of useful lessons. It is a light, entertaining film, with light and pleasant humor. It is recommended to see it looking for a healthy distraction.

A good movie if you never watched DBZ

I am giving 5, cause I enjoyed the quality of the anime. I know practically everything about DBZ and my problem is with the the storyline, which doesn't make sense at all. Freeza could be and has been beaten in a single punch by Gohan in that old movie, where are the bad guys got resurrected and that was way before Buu saga, after which he gotextremely powerful.

Now, Freeza comes back and he does that to Gohan??? Like seriously?? Even Krillin could beat him, let alone Piccollo, but we had this non sense. On top of that, the story is spoilt and rushed. Akira needs some really Otaku's advice to work on his storyline, fights and powers. Right now, it looks like a reboot for people who never watched the saga. Not happy Akira. Sort it out

Break through plot inconsistencies with sheer powerful animation and light comedy

Dragon Ball series has already achieve legendary status, yet it's also become hard to expand since characters are literal planet destroyers now. Using effective traits like timely comedy and exhilarating choreography, Resurrection F makes up for the simple plot. It reintroduces the villain Freeza with adequate respect to his original character and let him brawl with the heroes.

Freeza is resurrected and now he demands revenge. Admittedly, the story isn't complicated, bringing back old villain does possess some trouble with power level. The protagonists have dealt with much stronger foes, and now Freeza who was bullied by future Trunks is a legitimate threat. This might trouble the anime fans, and it takes some suspension of disbelief.

However, Dragon Ball is notorious for its power level shift, the more important thing is it delivers amazing animation. Production value is pretty high, unlike usual animation series where hits are blurry at best, the fights here are beautifully choreographed. Audience can fully appreciate the impact of hits and the flashy speed.

Humor works very well too. Usually, the attempt for comedy ends up campy, but the movie takes a few hilarious jokes with just the right timing. It presents the same quirky atmosphere fans adores from earlier series. If there's a complain, the sound effects occasionally become too loud, it's a bit jarring from the normal audio.

The revival of old nemesis might draw some questions about power level, but the movie is a suitable for medium to showcase the smooth animation and effective comedy.

One of the best pieces of Dragon Ball content ever.

Oh boy, what a movie! I'll make this real quick and spoiler free.

Set 2 years after the previous film, Battle of Gods, Frieza is revived by two remnants of his army, Sorbet and Tagoma. By doing this, Frieza has come back with a plan to become stronger and the intentions of getting revenge on the people who stood in his way. Thus begins the most action packed, funniest, epic, exhilarating and beautiful Dragon Ball thing ever created. It's freakin' amazing.

Everything from the animation to its soundtrack to its fights and to it's sheer amount of memorable moments is just top quality. You don't need to be a Dragon Ball fan to enjoy this one.

You are doing yourself a huge disfavour by not watching this movie, Especially if you're a fan of the series.

This is going in my top 10 favourite animated movies.

    Talk about relentless

Frieza, I thought I was sympathizing with him only to realize what a true joke he is to the Saiyan's seeing him up close made it simply clear that he stood no chance until the end but the final blow was utterly disappointing but how far would one go, being far from that action this ball of the dragon doesn't seem to disappoint in terms of combat I've just got to give it to them steadily handing it out to the world as the best fight they'll ever come across in anime, honestly I don't seem to tire when it's dragon ball cause the action comedy and rest element just adds up to keep you going till the end, bold heroes always persevering that only is another key element to anime that never giving up vibe even when the odds are stacked up high so high that the world itself calls you name the chosen heroes who at the end believe in themselves stand out in the end but it could go either way though that's anime baby.
