I think Hallmark can't go wrong with an all star cast such as this. I guess the leads are married, and I probably knew that a while back, but I forgot. What I most enjoy about 'Love Locks' is that with the backdrop of Paris, Romijn and O'Connell provide great chemistry, fun, laughs and love. There is a lot of energy happening in this story and I have to attribute most of it to a subdued O'Connell who is bursting at the seams to give us a whole lot more than was permitted.
Lindsey and Jack are two Americans who were in Paris 20 years ago and were lost in love, but she had to return to New York to pursue her own dreams of becoming an artist and whatever other excuses the writers could concoct. Meanwhile, Jack stays in Paris and builds a life for himself there. Lindsey returns to Paris with her 18 year old daughter (not Jack's) and by coincidence Jack owns the hotel where they are staying and the love resumes right where it left off.
I enjoy 'Love Locks', it's exciting and very entertaining. There is something very sparkly about the the Parisian atmosphere and the dream of love and the abundance of artistry in this film. There are several other characters that enrich the story as well, which adds more layers and balance to the film. 'Love Locks' is rich with pleasant conversations and exciting interactions amongst the characters, involving art, fine cuisine, beautiful scenery, and growing friendships. The dialogue is intelligent and bold, and the personalities are happy and fun-loving. There is not one ounce of gloom in 'Love Locks', so this is a good pick-me-up if you need one. The acting is great, the romance is great, this movie is great!

As soon as Love Locks started, I knew I was going to enjoy it. I've had this movie in my que for awhile and finally got around to watching it. I knew Jerry & Rebecca were married and am a fan of them both.
The chemistry of the two was outstanding...it better have been. The story was great, predictable yes, but ALL HM movies are predictable.
The scenery of Paris, well what can I say, it's Paris and what was cool was in one shot there was Notre Dame in the background.
Good movie, worth seeing.

This second chance romance between Jack and Lindsey reunites real life couple Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. Lindsey and Jack were college lovers who parted in Paris to meet at the Empire State Building like the classic films Love Affair and An Affair to remember.
Fast forward 20 years and Lindsey is a divorcé with a college age daughter of her own and is off to Paris where she is being courted by a publishing big wig who wants to buy her magazine.
While running around Paris with her daughter, Lindsey runs into Jack at a bar in which he owns the establishment.
Rebecca is gorgeous and Jerry is his usual funny and charming self...it works in these sweet little Parisian romance.

I appreciate that parts were actually filmed in Paris! Jocelyn Hudon definitely seemed older than her character was supposed to be (which is pretty common in reality of the movie business but not always so obviously noticeable).
Beautiful photography and on location filming in Paris make this Hallmark romance above average and quite charming. A divorced mother played by a still attractive Rebecca Romijn and her daughter - refreshingly not a brat, go to Paris. There they find romance. Jerry O'Connell is her ex boyfriend who owns a pretty hotel there. The theme is the love locks people put on bridges.
The cast is good and surprisingly a real life husband and wife can act in a romance without being irritating. The only fault is Bruce Davison who isn't a convincing French artist.
There are some Hallmark movies that are too perky and cute or the cast is a bit second rate. This isn't one of them. Worth a watch.
