The IMPERATIVE need of Nicolas Cage
I know this will be ignored. But I hope it doesn't.
Imagine this: John Travolta still as Moose.
Fred Durst as the paparazzi girl.
Nicolas Cage as the Final Destination actor.
Please.
I BEG you to think about it.
Some movies really need the strangeness of The Nic. And, well... if some people don't agree with this statement, this disaster is here to prove them wrong.
Even the thought of this possibility makes me rase my rating from a 2 to a 3.

NOT THAT BAD!
I was late to the party on this and I went in to it not expecting much but more curious as to why it's an underground cult classic.
I honestly don't think it deserves such a poor score. Ok, it's not the highest budgeted movie in the world, with the best script but I can honestly say I have definitely seen far worse. It was watchable and it kept my attention.
Travolta did such a good job with this character that I genuinely felt sorry for him at the end - Moose didn't deserve to be hurt.
As for Sawa's character he's definitely typecast in to very similar roles and genres - I wish he'd be cast in something different.

So bad it's good.
This movie may well outshine The Room in years to come. Amazing, in the worst kind of way.
Better than expected by far
Lots of higher scoring horror/thriller type movies released lately and they're all trash.
This low scorer roped me in because of Fred Durst and John Travolta, a little slow to start but Travolta pulls off an almighty all out out crazy that's worth waiting for. Theres few hidden eggs and the line "she is not a good nurse" really tickled me.
Give it a go it's actually alright.
Better than a 4 - I'd of thought it to be a 5.5

- TriviaThe movie is loosely based in a real event in director Fred Durst's life, in which a fan of the band Limp Bizkit (of which Durst was the vocalist) stalked him. Moose's way of dress (the Hawaiian shirt, the shorts and the kind of bad sneakers) was based in the clothes that Durst's stalker always wore.
- GoofsWhen Dunbar is making a smoothie, after kissing the maid the blender is empty.
- Crazy creditsFor some reason, all opening credits are repeated at the end of the film.
