Its the morning of Julies 31st birthday, and Jesper has let himself in Julies apartment, with a surprise breakfast. The surprises quickly turns awkward, as Julies new boyfriend, Jacob, is in bed cuddling with Julie. Trying to act all cool with Julies new relationship status, Jesper struggles to tell Julie how he really feels.

Jesper has finally come clean about his feelings to Julie, and the mood turns naturally tense, when Laura and Tobias hosts a classic Christmas-lunch for the whole group. Jesper and Julie aren't the only ones struggling with an awkward and tense tone; the whole group decides to play a game of "Hint", and it turns out, everyone might be struggling with some personal stuff on their own.

Julie is trying to settle at her new job in Aarhus, despite a very awkward male boss, and some very opinionated and slightly younger feminist colleagues. Back in Copenhagen, Jesper is missing Julie and their everyday chats; and it especially comes to show, when he randomly meets his frenemy, Mark, and when his mom insists on making an appearance during a dinner with his friends.

Jespers perspective on life is broadened, as he visits a hairdresser on the deep insides of Nørrebro. Afterwards he gets lured to an eventful evening of speed dating. Julie is enjoying herself at a Thursday-bar, and gets a wee bit too drunk and high, and mistakenly sends out the wrong signals to both colleagues and Jesper. Jesper decides to rush to Aarhus and apologize to Julie. Upon arrival, Jesper receives a somewhat unanticipated welcome.

Julie has returned from Aarhus to Copenhagen, and is trying to do the boyfriend-girlfriend thing with Jesper. But there's a first for every thing, and in a relationship, that can be very challenging, especially when you come from the stage of being the best of friends.

Its the day of the christening of Maries newborn child, and the mood between the new lovebirds, Julie and Jesper, is exceptionally tense. The tension probably stems from a very awkward dinner at Julies parents house. Both Julie and Jesper are both trying hard at being in the relationship, but as they go along, Julie is slowly starting to second-guess the relationship.

Its the last day of the year, and the entire group is gathered for a great last evening at Laura and Tobias' house. Carsten has arrived with his new plus-one, Pia, Amanda and Kasper are showing up - both single - and Tobias and Laura has a petite surprise for everyone. A speech in relation to the new year approaching leaves the group with some new perspective and Julie and Jesper makes a decision about their possible future.
