Christmas as an adult is really something else. Julie and Jesper are parents now and they're hosting a traditional Christmas Eve for the first time. As the extended family arrives it becomes increasingly difficult to make it right for everyone. The temperature rises and it becomes difficult to figure out who the real grown-ups are and if such a thing as the perfect Christmas Eve even exists.

Julie is getting married. She just doesn't know yet. Julie and Jesper have summoned friends and family to a picnic and Julie's boyfriend Mads is planning to propose to her in front of everyone. Jesper is in on the plan and is the one stressing out the most about the proposal.

Julie and Jesper both need an evening without their son Theo and they embark on a big night out. It just doesn't feel right anymore, they feel too old and everyone else seems too young. They decide to cut the evening short and catch the X-factor finale on TV instead.

Julie and her friends watch Jesper and his team play a friendly football match. Very quickly things aren't as friendly anymore, neither on nor off the pitch. Jesper is secretly finding himself attracted to Phillip.

Julie and Jesper attend a meeting at the daycare where Phillip works. Emotions run high when the parents discuss topics such as sugar intake and gender politics. Julie ends up picking a fight with another parent while Jesper has a special moment with Phillip.

The group of friends and their children go on a camping trip together. Things are most definitely different than before they had kids. Laura feels neglected by her husband Tobias and Julie for that matter, while Jesper gets all the attention he needs from Phillip.

Julie and Jesper are both carrying secrets that they aren't sharing with each other. Instead, both of them speak freely to their friends Laura and Tobias. It's hard for Tobias to keep track of what he can and can't say and he ends up spilling the beans in an awkward moment.

Julie and Jesper go to a fair with their parents and Theo. There's bad energy between them and slowly all of their secrets are put forward. Julie and Jesper end up in a heated argument in front of everyone and learn a little something about how tricky it is to be friends and parents at the same time.

Both Julie and Jesper have to make life choices. Should they take a shot at true love or settle for what they have? How do you ever learn if you made the right choice? And will Julie and Jesper ever feel like they're real adults?
