I love this show. It's very clever, the writing and voice acting are excellent. And it's refreshing to see a superhero cartoon for adult. But I agree with some other reviews, this episode felt incredibly cheap compared to the previous ones. I thought I was watching an old GI JOE episode honestly. The animation was just awful. Even the designs were poor. So please Amazon, don't be cheap. This show deserves it!
Invincible is definitely edging along nicely. This was a slower episode but just like the comics, the early issues were slow and then it took off in a big way. I loved seeing Invincible go to Mars and we learn about the sequids there. I don' know what was with the opening scene but excited to find out. Amber and Mark's scenes were nice together.
As a bridge for a new revelations and consequences for the main characters, the episodie works very well. It's surprising how a quiet episodie is capable to put clues around the scenes showing us how far the drama will go. Not the best, but enjoying.

I'm so in love with this show. Long time fan of the comic. I see some users going on about how it rips of Marvel and DC. It's more of a homage/pastiche, the story is very original and goes some interesting directions as it progresses. Lots of little moments in this episode do well to hint at Nolans true nature, which to me is what made it good. I suppose a new fan wouldnt be able to see this yet. But stick with it. :)
Everything was going well until i reached this episode. What happened to the animation and the quality? Id rather have to wait longer for a more polished episode than an animation that looks extremely rough and unpolished.
Regardless I hope moving forward animation isnt like this again otherwise I dont have high hopes for this show with an otherwise great story and cast.

- TriviaWhen Darkblood is banished, Cecil uses three items: a reconstructed page from an ancient magic book, a candle, and a hand bell. Bell, Book, and Candle are three items used in a Roman Catholic ceremony of Excommunication, by which officials of the Church formally cut off a heinous offender from any Communion with the Church, ostensibly sentencing the person to eternity in Hell.
