It is very interesting seeing how a character like Lester, the Arconia's doorman, was always there in the background "in their highest highs and their lowest lows," and still he is seen as nothing more like an objects for the Arconia's tenants. It is weird seeing how he was there for Mabel when she was young and friendless, when she becomes an adult and has friends she still talks to him, but when they show the flashback from the first episode ever Mabel just pass by Lester? Maybe it is a culture shock, but that's so rude. Same can be said about Oliver and Charles with their own references, but who knows maybe in future episodes we will get more flashbacks to see if what Mr. Putnam said in the last episode about Lester - that he "knew I cared about you" - is true, but until then, it doesn't seem so.
Also, what dragged my rating down was young Lester's acting, I didn't like it, it ruined the episode for me, not that I agree with the other early reviews here that give this a 10/10, but still it was a good episode, ignoring young Lester's acting.
