This is an absolutely exquisite stop motion film and I had an absolute blast watching it. The music is so fun and immediately immerses you into this quirky, whimsical, and cartoonishly horrific world.
Honestly the only reason I rated it 4.5/5 instead of a 5/5 is just because I just wish it was a little longer. I would've loved to see some of these characters a little more fleshed out and in particular Sally and Jack's romance (honestly I guess I had been led to believe for over a decade that there were gonna be more romance in this but like it only happens at the very end of the movie).
Well that's all for my review since I gotta hit the character limit lol.

I rate this an 8.5/10
Honestly the only demerit I think this film has is that the score works only sometimes. The score is hugely synth based which works for the thriller/mystery elements, but when it comes to the Amish/rural scenes, it just falls flat and sounds kinda dead in my opinion. For the most part during the Rural scenes, it isn't as obvious, but there's like 3 big scenes where the music is just wonky and off.
Script, Acting, Cinematography, and Story are pretty solid across the board. I really enjoyed it. Especially the thriller scene at the very end of the film. Really well executed in my opinion.
