Weekly Update: Prototype Variations
Bring your Claude Design work onto the canvas
Send a design from Claude Design straight onto a Miro board in one click. Your concepts land where the team already collaborates, so you can easily use Claude Design to generate first drafts, and use Miro as the place where your team adds context, aligns on a direction, and decides what to build.
Prototype Variations
Generate multiple prototype directions from a single prompt and compare them side by side before committing to a direction. Explore the full range of options upfront, then align as a team on where to go next. Included with Miro Prototypes.
Weekly Update: Code to Prototype
Claude Code connection for Miro Prototypes
Connect Miro to your coding agent via MCP and push explorations directly onto the canvas as prototype screens. Wherever the work starts, your team can collaborate, align, and decide on next steps together. Included with Miro Prototypes.
Weekly Update: Prototyping from Screenshots and Figma
Improved screenshot to prototypes conversion
Start with a screenshot (or multiple screenshots) of your product and expand it into a connected, multi-screen flow. Miro matches the UI structure and styling from your original screen so the result feels like a natural extension of what you already have. Included with Miro Prototypes.
Convert a Figma asset to prototypes
Copy a link to a Figma asset and paste it onto the Miro canvas. From there, convert it to a prototype the same way you would with a screenshot. Your existing designs become the starting point, so the prototype stays grounded in your actual product style from the first screen. Included with Miro Prototypes.
Weekly Update: Styled buttons and URL-based theming for prototyping
Text styling, alignment, and icons in buttons
Buttons in the Prototyping Library now support styled text and icons. Apply bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough to your label text, set alignment to left, center, or right, and add an icon from the picker that automatically aligns with the text.
Style prototypes with a URL
Get prototypes that look closer to your real product from the start. Paste a URL into your prompt and Miro uses the page as visual context, automatically pulling in its color theme. Included in the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
Weekly Update: New diagram shapes, markdown import, and flexible scaling
Bring visual clarity to your diagrams
Create professional and versatile diagrams with our new collection of 600 general-purpose shapes, spanning everything from development and security to finance.
Markdown .md file upload
Import or drag and drop Markdown documents as Miro Docs to collaborate on the canvas.
Diagram format scaling
You can now resize diagrams directly on the canvas by selecting and dragging any corner of the diagram widget. Scaling works seamlessly whether auto layout is enabled or disabled, giving you full control over your diagram's size in any layout mode.
Weekly Update: Divider lines
Divider lines
Add horizontal and vertical divider lines from shapes and lines and the prototyping library. They stay fixed like UI elements and don’t auto-snap like connector lines.
Weekly Update: Generate slides with AI
Miro AI for Slides creation
Transform scattered board content into structured Miro Slides presentations with AI-powered outline generation and formatting.
Weekly Update: Prototyping Updates
Copy prototypes to Figma
Copy prototypes as SVGs and paste them directly into Figma using the Copy to Figma action in the Prototypes format toolbar, or select a prototype or screen and choose Copy as SVG from the ⋯ menu with the Miro Prototypes Add-on. High-resolution SVG export is available on all Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans.
Higher-quality prototyping results with Miro AI
Upgraded AI models power prototype creation in Miro with improved layouts, structure, content, and image generation for clearer exploration of ideas with realistic visuals. Available with the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
Weekly Update: Prototype Connector Visibility
Prototype Connector Visibility
Toggle connector visibility in Prototypes to review screen flows and interactions or reduce visual clutter when editing and presenting. Available with the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
Weekly Updates: Pixel dimensions in Focus Modes and import styles in Prototypes Focus Modes
Set exact pixel dimensions in format Focus Modes
Resize elements like text, images, icons, shapes, and components using precise width and height values in any format Focus Mode (Diagrams, Slides, or Prototypes). Prototype Focus Mode requires the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
Import styles from images in Prototypes Focus Mode
Apply colors directly from an image while working in Prototype Focus Mode to reuse visual styles from existing designs. Prototype Focus Mode requires the Miro Prototypes Add-on.
