BETWEEN FORTY AND DEATH

Yes, that is what I tell everybody of my age! I'm somewhere between forty and death. On tap will be the Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth. First thing on Instagram this morning, I get a birthday greeting from the wacky Tammie from her Wonder of Wonder tour. Some days I don't think she is playing with a full set of marbles.

As for me, birthdays and age don't brother me, and I must say I think the exercise and gin is what keeps me again,  well. I have been in good company over the years.

Why use a glass on friday?
The look and hairstyle and sometimes a fag just makes the drink.
Sometimes, the well trained drink, does comes to me!!!

Know when to say when.

Yes. I have nothing to complain of and I am very happy with things. I have a few friends that say, time to settle down, meet someone, buy a house, dating to many men, to much sex(is there such a thing), watch what you eat. Well hell, the way I live I must be doing something right to not act my age or look my age, and hell,  I have a younger man and and older man.... so in the words of Elektra Abundance......
🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈

And thanks you to those who sent birthday greetings, your all so sweet!!!!

GRANDE DAME

Although Tammie was eliminated episode 2, she made a big impression on the Drag Race audience, especially after she went head to head with Mama Ru and the panel. I myself always enjoyed Tammie's style and quirkiness. It's really what camp drag is all about...being an oddball. It’s no surprise that Tammie is a fan favorite with her quirky personality, her social and environmental activism , her charming performances, and that unmistakable “Tammie lip.” . When you see Tammie on screen on or the stage, it’s apparent that she, like her idol Tina Turner, was born to perform. The west coast queen is not only a camp icon, pioneer, singer, songwriter, and there for any LGBTQ charity that should come up, but she is also a huge environmental  advocate and a animal welfare activist. And no denying she has camp style. Go go gurl!!! Apologies if you already commented...I deleted the post due to picture spacing issues.

Life Lesson from A Queen #6

Tammie Brown

"Drag has given me the experience to open up to my artistic side and to express myself as a human being. I find that these garments, these clothes, are really really neat. It's like my body is a canvas.

Don't let things hold you back and always be open because things are always changing. Take what you got and use it. You're the canvas and use it and be creative. Always shoot big and aim high!

I thought I would share some of my favorite portraits of some of the most fabulous queens with you whilest I'm out today! The Lad is back from a month long trip to Florida, and we can't really spend all day in the house, well, we could, but how productive would that be? Tammie Brown-Sashay Away

Tammie was told to sashay away, but I think she will do anything but. Look at this beauty!

Well, if you are watching RuPaul's Drag Race you know by now that Tammie Brown had been voted off during the "showgirl showdown" against the cat nip vicious Akasaha. In the beginning of the show I wasn't routing for Tammie, but I did like her. I wish she would have lasted a little longer. But to be honest, her talent I think goes beyond this show. She has the best Bette Davis look I have ever seen! Those eyes are amazing! Yea,Tammie may be out there, but I'm guessing she has a heart of gold. Most drag queens these days are a dime a dozen, so you better have a unique schick to make it. Tammie has that old Hollywood look that the Mistress really loves. Tammie is from Los Angeles and brings with her, her unique, wacky style to the drag world. A funny story about Tammie from her My space. As a child I begged and begged my parents for a wig. So she looked in the Yellow Pages, her mom called a taxi, and down to the business district they went! Tammie can be seen performing in clubs in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Good luck to you girl! You can sashay- this way anytime.
