Mysterious Box – a story about growing up with a friend

I received a mystery box as a DT member. The products surprised me. I don't use these colours very often, so this project was a challenge for me.

I created a LO, which is supposed to symbolize two friends growing up. >From child to adulthood. Together, despite the differences.

Make a wish by Marina Ignatova

Hello creative souls!

Marina Ignatova is here with my botanical postcards of different formats.

First, I worked on the background. I applied the texture paste through a stencil. When everything was dry, I made a tinting of distress ink in three colors. I sprayed it with water. Then she sprayed more acrylic: white, black, and opal magic blue-gold. I stitched it around the perimeter.

Now I've worked on the decor. Using moulds and clay, I made figurines. I painted them with acrylic paints. I applied wax on top, revealing the volume. The metal elements were also painted with acrylic paints diluted with water. I did the same with the chipboard. Yes, I love acrylic paints very much)))))

It's time to make a composition and glue everything together. Next, I tinted the flowers and applied toppings.

Everything is ready! We enjoy the result))

See you again! Hugs,

Marina

Mixed-media album by Marina Ignatova

Hello dear mixed media fans!

I'm back with the album!

But this time it was created for me. In my favorite colors and techniques, in a cozy size with small photos, and most importantly, it was created using the most stunning and endlessly loved materials.

I love using moulds in different projects. So on the cover of the album, it was not without them.

The album is based on paper from different collections from ABstudio.

I supplemented it with paints, pastes, ink.

The album turned out to be very cool, I just don't want to let go of it! I think he will inspire you too!

I hug you, Marina
