MIX DAL DHOKLA & SPICY DHOKLA CHUTNEY - We Gujaratis can live without oxygen but not without Dhokla. Have made this protein packed - mix dal dhokla and using the same dhokla also made chutney. Must try and you will love this as much as my family did. Here’s the written recipe.
 • - Soak - 1/2 cup mix dal (masoor, moong yellow, moong chilka dal and tuvar dal), 1/2 cup chana dal & 1 cup rice - 4-5 hours
 • - In a mixie jar take the soaked dal and rice and add 1 cup curd
 • - Add Ginger & Green Chili
 • - grind to make smooth batter
 • - in the batter, add Turmeric powder, Salt, 1 tbs oil and 1 tsp fruit salt (ENO) for instant fermentation
 • Note: If you don’t want to use Eno then leave batter on side for 6 hours to get natural fermentation
 • - Now steam dhokla for good 20 minutes
