I wanted to like this, I really did, but this manhwa was just... mid. It's honestly the first time I've read a pure harem story with a murim setting, so it was pretty unique; there were plenty of plot devices that spiced up the story, and it wasn't unoriginal. However, the praise stops there, as these same plot devices ultimately killed any form of satisfaction or entertainment.

want to, which is a nice touch, but he also fails to act like an actual reincarnator. His personality is just a bit cold or detached, without all the fangirling you think would have happened when you're reincarnated into your favorite novel.
With that, the side character gimmick hurts the story tremendously. After the MC conquers/rizzes up a heroine in their nice arc -- the arcs are written nicely, I won't lie -- there's virtually no more interactions with said heroine. No fluff, no funny bits, and they're just tossed aside with a few mentions and scenes in the story. The MC does such an avid job of avoiding them that it becomes less entertaining than anything. You would think he would be like "Hm, I'm kind of being an asshole, and they're pretty nice/cute, so I'll talk to them a bit," but there's none of that.
Instead, the story moves on, and the former heroines are insignificant while the MC goes off and rizzes someone else.
I honestly expected much better writing in the plot from the author of "The Extra's Academy Survival Guide," where he incorporated and wrote a harem beautifully, but this was not it. There's none of the wholesome fluff or slice of life moments that make you love the characters and the entire story, and there's no satisfaction that comes from saving the heroine. Even as a harem enjoyer, this story was mediocre at best.
