10/10 : Unforgettable. Everything you’ve heard about it is an understatement. The kind of show that intimidates you. It climbs heights never seen. It innovates the world. It pushes the gap of human entertainment. Perfect characters & story, both of which were thoroughly analyzed & challenged. It leaves you empty. A bittersweet feeling you receive from experiencing something truly flawless. You know nothing will ever be as grand as what you experienced. Whatever minor flaws it has become null from how perfect it is. The ultimate definition of a masterpiece. It is the reason anime is respected. Irreplaceable. 9/10 : A Gem. Enjoyable, Superb, & Endearing. It left a substantial impact. It properly tackled themes and concepts. Minor issues are overlooked from everything else done right. Propelled to the top for the amount of entertainment or praised for its sheer magnitude in existence. Its a show that understands its creation & defies it to something godly. It properly achieved masterful results. Its timeless and unlimited in praise. 8/10 : Exceptional. Its positive aspects overshadowed a small amount of problems. When you watch, you get a sense that a significant deal of effort and care was poured into it. It utilized its themes in an enlightened and interesting manner. Its what you look back on with fond memories. A powerhouse. Stepped above requirements. It has integrity and earnestness that all respect. Endearing, memorable and left a lasting impression. Sets a benchmark for others to follow. Top Tier. 7/10 : Fantastic. Memorable and easily recommendable. A show with noticeable flaws but despite that, manages to create something worth investing & bragging about. A great cast of very likable characters. An enjoyable experience that leaves you satisfied. May have been formulaic at times but it sets itself apart from the rest with proper execution and presentation. It had a clear amount of effort displayed towards seeing its vision completed. As all things go, its a very solid piece of work being explored, consistently entertaining, and rich in content. Gets better with time. 6/10 : Attractive. For the most part, it has merits that move it above similar works of its playing field. Has good moments but had a few amount of times where it wasn't appealing. Maybe had promise but had either poor execution or too many problems to keep it from being fantastic. A good time-passer or junk food flick but rarely elevates beyond that. Enjoyment can also be the biggest reason saving it from being average. The functionality of it may not have been tuned right. Despite that, it's still a show to recommend, if only with a few disclaimers coming attached. 5/10 : Average Joe. Not bad, but at the same time, far from good. Its mediocre, wasted potential, standard. Watch at your own risk of boredom. Can't fully recommend without lots of precursors. The highlights had an equally detracting quality that countered it. Maybe it had promise but squandered it. Maybe it had a few unique traits but nothing to stand out. Excelled in a certain areas but neglected a lot. Easily forgettable. Usually its slice of nothing happens with little stakes. Otherwise its comedies with no plots, nor over overarching themes, nor character explorations. It didn't aim high. It finds itself as average. It might deserve a watch, but often its a hit or miss depending on the individual. 4/10 : Irritating. Subpar. Recommending it is challenging. It suffers more problems than highlights. It may have shown promise but didn't follow through. At best, its digestible with nothing of substance. Junk food; quick to consume but offers nothing of nutritional quality. Often overhyped that's reduced to plot twists, trite storylines, and shock value to hold audiences. Fails to meet typical standards. Doesn't properly tackle themes. Only a few redeeming qualities from being a failure. Its bad because what little good was there couldn't help the overall issues. Its the awkward child in anime. It lowers the bar of quality by masquerading as something better than it is. 3/10 : Mentally Handicapped. Near no redeemable qualities. A trainwreck. Often poorly written and poorly shown. A lot of it tends to serve the lowest denominator. Most modern anime fall under it. Trying to defend it requires an extreme amount of mental pain and shallowness. So bad that even the average viewer can tell there's something off about it. At best, its easy-to-consume with nothing else to offer but lowering your IQ. At worst, being a pile of trash that needs to be discarded upon viewing. 2/10 : Maddening. Its so bad it's either funny or infuriating. It failed in almost every category. Cardboard cutout stereotypical characters. Illogical storyboarding. Sloppy directing. Cringe writing. No heart placed into it. Almost cynically brought together in order to cash in on a recognizable property. Left all its integrity at the front door to make room for easy money. Avoid it like a disease. The only enjoyment received is turning the whole thing into a drinking game or simply turning it off. It abandon its craft for cheap gimmicks. The crust of pointlessness. 1/10 : Rage. Horrendous scum. How does it exist? It's unfathomable to think somewhere out there, someone likes it unironically. Its Defecation. It's the kind of bad everyone could agree something's wrong with it. It manages to do everything wrong, an accomplishment within itself. It thinks its clever when it pisses all over your mind. It may offend you on a personal level. The only positive from a 0/10 is its unforgettable.
