Best comfort anime of the season. If you watched season 1, then, just expect more of that.
Here's the basic summary:
- Lots of cooking and eating
- pretty art
- cute moments with our mascots
- Lots of silly comedy
- No need for plot. No need to pay attention to details.
- No serious moments. No drama. No tension. No romance. No revenge.
...
It is not for everyone. If you just want to shut down your brain, not exert any mental effort and just relax, then, this is the series for you.
If you want a serious anime with plot/romance/action/lore etc., you came to the wrong place. This series is not to be taken seriously at any level.

Good:
- The characters (both main and side ones) are some of the best in the OI genre. They are unique, memorable and hilarious.
- romance + comedy + slice-of-life are the primary genres. Lots of wholesome and positive vibes. Most of the series is actually just characters meeting and chatting.
- gorgeous and cute art. Most of the female character designs are just insanely pretty. While ML's design is a bit bland, his variety of expressions are refreshing (compared to all the stoic male leads that we often see in OI).
Bad:
- There's barely 5 chapters worth of "plot" and even that is kind of a
...
mess (especially the final twist). Just completely forget the plot and enjoy the character interactions for a better reading experience.
- There's a good bit of angst, entirely arising out of [many] misunderstandings. There's also the annoying trope of FL saying "I must not interfere with OG plot and let ML fall in love with OGFL", which serves no purpose but to block the progress of romance.
Overall
Read for characters + comedy + romance + art. Ignore any angst or plot stuff that usually ruins the vibe. It's an entertaining series, but do not expect anything deep or a masterpiece.

As far as Otome-Isekai go, this is slightly above average. Most of the credit goes to the fluffy nature of the series and its art.
The core "plot" is pretty small and rapidly happens towards the end inside a flashback. But most of the series is about characters overcoming their trauma of childhood abuse, thanks to the positive bundle of joy that is our FL. There's no elaborate designs/backgrounds, but characters are drawn pretty and it's also pretty rare to see a green-haired ML. My favorite part is definitely the fact that the series focuses so much on our main trio ML, FL, dragon
...
and "villainess". There's some complex interactions due to love triangle, but they are all honest with each other and appreciate their bonds.
I do believe that we should have gone the harem route or provided alternate ships for side characters. It's awkward to see unfinished business like side characters ("villainess" or dragon) not finding romance, or some cool characters like sultan never doing anything actually relevant to the story.
The angst is frustrating at times, because it's all about childhood abuse and bad parents. The only character with a happy childhood filled with two loving parents was the villain.
Overall, despite some cliche angst and other issues, I still found the series to be heartwarming. Ending the story at 117 chapters, also makes me appreciate this. Too many series ruin themselves by trying to stretch the story forever.

Plot: The story starts with MC learning that she is not actually the duchess's daughter. A maid, who had an affair with the duke, swaps MC with the original heir and runs away. She still works hard to get the approval of duchess, but the duchess is completely obsessed with her real daughter and always abuses MC. Finally, the real daughter is back after the maid dies, and the duchess wants MC to give up her identity for her sister. MC will instead show them that nobody can replace her.
Review
So, after around 20 chapters of pretending to be a badass villainess, she just runs away
...
to a faraway island for a cute slice-of-life story running a shop for 50+ chapters. The vast majority of this "revenge" is just ignoring her family as they fall into ruin by their own doing.
It is pretty obvious that MC is author's self-insert. Everything is about her. Every character is defined by their relationship to her. She can do no wrong, while all her enemies are wrong. Most of the powerful characters belong to her fanclub. She acts badass while bullying her naive happy-go-lucky sister, who was thrown into this chaotic situation. All other characters exist to validate MC and feel bad about MC's tragic childhood abuse. Everyone's always praising her for being super smart, strong etc. and despite that, we rarely see even a hint of that intelligence on screen. I was way more interested in the story of her sister, who had the makings of a badass knight heroine.
The story is also trash. It starts with MC wanting revenge against her family, then, she wants to be successfully become a full-fledged noble via her own merit, then, it moves to helping ML with war and so on. It's obvious the author ran out of ideas after 20 chapters and just kept adding random plots while using magic to prop up MC with random bullshit. For a story that deals with illegitimate birth of MC, it instead chooses to double down on lineage and how you can only get cool powers by being born to the right parents. The whole magic thing is completely nonsensical and just becomes whatever the plot needs.
I was honestly expecting some twist to flip the script and make everything make sense, but that was too optimistic of me. This was always a second-rate series propped up by art. If you are starting this series, just remember that the first 20 chapters are tonally *very* different from the rest of the series.

Main story is completed (94 chapter). A very flawed series carried by art + comedy. The story revolves around our MC who regresses back in time, and decides to live a more carefree + spoiled life this time, while fixing up her idiot brother to turn him into a proper emperor.
The series had a lot of potential, but the writing dragged the series down (the second half in particular is a complete letdown). For example, while MC is technically a "girlboss", she has no capacity for planning and is only able to maintain her attitude, thanks to the plot conveniences.
The story, as well as the
...
setting, is garbage with vague lore that never explains shit properly. Characters feel like artificial tropes and the flow of the story feels very random. The magic is simultaneously overpowered as fuck, but also completely ineffective.
With all that said, there's still plenty of enjoyment to be had by reading this series (especially if you just skip through the boring parts).
1. decent story arc about siblings (MC and her brother).
2. MC is a fun girlboss character.
3. Hilarious reaction panels and quirky characters. The comedy redeems a lot of the series' shortcomings.
4. Gorgeous art (especially ML's design).
Anyway, it's a series to read for decent comedy and art. If you don't enjoy the first 3-4 chapters, you might as well drop it. Just remember to keep your expectations low.

It starts as a decent otome isekai series with the comedy + childcare + girlboss FL as its primary genres.
I would rate the first half above average. The characters, plot and even the art were very formulaic. The series offered nothing new to the fans of this genre. But, as unoriginal as it was in terms of content, the execution was good and if you just wanted a genre staple, you would be satisfied. The story was about a stalker "villainess", who regresses back in time, and decides to avoid repeating her mistakes this time. This part is filled with cute childcare and funny
...
FL moments. FL is really the main attraction for this series, but she can only carry so much.
I think there were problems from early chapters, but only after the first half, you really start to realize that we are sliding down faster and faster. It got axed, which makes me think that everyone was in a rush to get to the end.
- The pacing is atrocious. Setting up plot threads for multiple chapters and resolving them suddenly in like 5 panels (not even a full chapter). You are just left there wondering if you were missing chapters/panels.
- The villains are evil masterminds in one chapter and become dumber than bricks in the very next chapter. The empress was the only villain who had any sort of competency, but other than that, everyone else is brain-damaged.
- Nothing ever makes sense past a certain point. Writer be creating use-and-throw plot devices to just move the plot forward. We start dealing with dark magic, divine power, divine beast, reincarnation, reversing time, future predictions, fake memories etc... The more you read, the less it makes sense. It keeps getting worse towards the end. FL faints so often, that I have become numb and don't even feel bad for her at this point. I just consider her fainting as her sleep routine.
- The characters always lacked depth and were cardboard cutouts. But the later chapters completely forget the existence of side characters. One would assume that the personal assistant or maid would be accompanying FL/ML into dangerous situations? Nope. Just ML/FL walking into enemy territory without any plan.
I could go on forever with complaints, but it all comes down to just one main problem. This is a decent series in the first half (not great, but good enough). But it spirals down into a dumpster fire (due to suddenly getting axed) and you are stuck in a place where you can't drop it because it's so close to the end, and you can't continue because the quality keeps dropping.
Just avoid starting this series and avoid the mental anguish.

A simple story where FL is trying to avoid a tragic end, by proposing to the crown prince.
Good:
* plenty of comedy due to FL's non-stop obsession with marriage and banter with her contracted spirits (mascots?).
* Lots of wholesome slice-of-life moments. Good execution of a generic plot.
* Cute Art, but a lot of characters look the same. Without hair color, I would be so lost. And you can barely recognize who's 14 and who's 40.
Bad:
* As far as OI genre goes, this series contributes nothing new. Most characters are irrelevant and just exist for the sake of plot. And FL just.. gets things done
...
by plot conveniences. There's barely any struggle for Mary Sue FL.
* FL's actions are questionable. Her favorite character is her brother, and she proposes to the prince to ensure that her brother can marry the OGFL. I feel sorry for the ML for being baited like that.
Overall
It's kinda relaxing to read, because the comedy keeps everything light-hearted and FL just breezes through everything. If you are okay with a weak plot, I can easily recommend this.

Plot
MC is a grunt worker in demonic cult. He was sent on a mission and gets killed by one of the strongest martial artists of Mount Hua. At death's door, he sees a status screen that lets him restart from a previous save point. The so-called "system" will give him quests like an RPG, help him learn skills, allow him to restart from a save-point upon death etc.. and MC plans to use this to become the strongest.. and escape the cult? or something like that.
Review
This is one of those series where everyone seems to praise it and rate it highly, while
...
I am here confused, and wondering if we are reading the same series. But, I guess the rest of the readers do not have a refined taste like me :D
* the story has zero creativity. It literally is just a RPG/system manhwa in a Murim setting. There's just no heart in it, and relies entirely on hype. Bigger numbers in status screen go brrrrr.
* None of the characters are unique or worth following. Even the supposed waifus are so boring, that you might as well simp for a white body pillows.
* The art is good, but definitely not good enough to carry the series.
Lets talk about MC. He is an edgy and whiny bitch with a strong victim-complex. He gets killed by someone powerful? He start crying "noooo. it's so unfair. Us weaklings are always played with by the strong". But, he is the unfairest of them all for literally getting multiple lives and a powerful system backing him.
He gets power-creep-ed regularly by the system and gets access to knowledge that others can only dream of. He says some of the dumbest shit possible, but of course, plot-armor and plot-conveniences will take care of everything, taking all the tension away from plot.
This series desperately needs a strong side-cast and the author needs to understand what "show, don't tell" means. MC keeps narrating stuff, explaining stuff, thinking stuff or doing stuff. With no proper side-cast, the series focuses exclusively on MC 24/7. Though MC's narration, you get author's unfiltered stream of thoughts that explain every single thing that's happening at any particular moment or ponder all the different choices that can be chosen at any point. It honestly takes a lot of energy to keep up with all the info dumps.
Overall
I honestly feel crazy, because everyone seems to rate this as one of their top 5 series. It has hype, I will give it that. Anyway, It is exhausting to read and there's no character that I can get invested in. If you like the MC, it may be worth your time. Otherwise, don't bother wasting your time on this series.

Good:
* great setting and lore. A goddess that believes in emotional love and a dragon god who believes in logic/reason is a cool concept.
* silly comedy with fun lead characters. I love how badass and active FL is. And the ML has some good character development towards the end of the season.
* wholesome romance (except for the age-gap thing, which is weird, but anime gotta anime).
Bad:
* predictable plot with lots of plot conveniences. there's not tension at all.
* Garbage animation and production.
Overall
Despite the low budget, I was able to enjoy the show. If you don't like the main characters though, you should just
...
drop it early on.

Plot
FL could see ghosts and everyone she told this to thought she was just being a attention whore or crazy. She gets isekai-ed by truck-kun, and still sees ghosts, but she keeps this a secret because the empire has a strict policy of burning sorcerers (witches) since a 1000 years. Her younger sister easily attracts evil spirits, so, FL is now determined to protect her at any costs. In present, she discovers an assassination plot via ghosts and decides to help the prince in exchange for the prince granting protection to her family, in case their family ever gets blamed for witchcraft.
Review
Good:
* Absolutely stunning
...
Art. Probably the most beautiful OI and the quality is consistent until now (108 chapters). The character designs are H O T (every single character) and can even distract you from the story itself sometimes.
* The plot is unique, and has a lot of mysteries going on at the same time. You have to pay attention as the series uses the "unreliable narrator" trope, or you will easily miss many clues that are sprinkled throughout.
* The characters are smart, and have a personality. Most named characters have their own feelings, motivations and goals.
Bad:
* At the end of the day, the story comes down to blessings/curses by powerful entities like gods, so, it feels like everyone is a puppet with no agency.
* There's a decent amount of angst. And the romance is just boring. There's little chemistry other than the two leads being pretty and the "childhood love" trope.
Overall
It is definitely a strong series, and worth giving a try. If nothing else, you can appreciate the beautiful art.
