I had already read the novel before and the art of Thores for me is going to be unsurpassed (at least for Trinity Blood), but I think Kiyo managed to express each of the characters in a good way and his art is really nice to say the least.
The story is almost the same, but seeing it in panels gives you another feeling, besides, I love the shojo winks in some scenes, it's a bit more enjoyable for me because the plot is usually heavy at times.
The ending leaves me longing for more, however I already made spoilers with the redeemable of some of the translations of what could have been the other remaining novel and after reading them, I'm grateful that the manga ended that way.
