Elliott Denny on Instagram: "I have posted very little of late but I have been busy working on lots of exciting things. Here is one of them, I have been eager to start developing some glazes since doing a couple online @ceramicmaterialsworkshop courses over the last year or 2. I finally made some time to start and these are the first results. I am pleased with the outcome and got many more I like than I expected, now to pick a few and mix up a larger batch to test them on some actual work. #glaz Matt Glaze Ceramics, Cone 6 Glazes, Matte Glaze Ceramics, Ceramics Glaze, Online Ceramics, Ceramic Glazes, Ceramic Glaze Recipes, Ceramic Glaze, Glaze Ceramics

Jennifer Spring on Instagram: "More glazing tips to share! I get a lot of questions about the finish on my work because I don’t usually glaze all of my surfaces, especially carved areas. Is this safe? Absolutely! Will it leak? No. My clay is fired to vitrification, meaning it’s water tight. I don’t actually need any glaze to make it functional, but I put glaze in key areas like handles and interiors for comfort. I also sand any matte areas, so they feel soft and inviting to touch. This is a small part of what makes my work individual and handmade.
