After Forging a Hair pin and barrette set for a client, I was so pleased with the results that I decided to start offering several styles of them in my shop. This organic looking leaf hair pin starts as a few inches of 1/2" round stock, that small amount of steel is then forged into the leaf finial while the rest of the material is drawn out to become the hair pin.
