DayZ - A mod that released in 2012 for the 2009 game ARMA II. The mod places you in the midst of a zombie apocalypse as you scavenge for supplies & weapons to survive. It is an online game which means you are not the only survivor, will you team up or kill in desperation for your own needs? Trust is an uncommon thing in this world. Within three months of release it had over 1 million users and is now a standalone game. So many adaptions have since appeared on the market.
