Basic is the home for the platforms the mainstream leaves behind: Pressflow 6, the high-performance Drupal 6 fork, and Drupal 7, both kept first-class, Drupal 7 on the latest PHP 8.5, on the same hardened, self-healing stack that runs everything we host, plus Backdrop CMS, the community continuation of the Drupal 7 way, with the built-in Drupal 6 → 7 → Backdrop upgrade chain when you choose it. A Drupal 6 site makes that journey in two ordinary panel tasks, each run on a copy that carries your field data across while the original keeps serving, so the road out of 2011 is one you walk at your own pace. Modern Drupal 10 and 11 belong on our Advanced and Pro tiers; Basic is sized for lighter sites and static work. On every plan the priced unit is the engine: your own isolated copy of the full hosting system, with its own Ægir (the open-source control panel that manages whole fleets of Drupal sites), walled off from every other customer.
All plans are available in six subscription variants: weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, biennial. Updated pricing applies to new and renewed subscriptions from 1 February 2026.
