You are not buying a server here. You are buying managed continuity: a hardened, self-healing stack that defends your sites and maintains itself, run by the one team that has kept its customers running since 1995. The promise underneath is plain: we don't strand the people who trusted us. This page is what that promise costs on our servers.
The structure is deliberate. Entry pricing carries the legacy platforms kept first-class: Pressflow 6, the high-performance Drupal 6 fork, and Drupal 7, with Backdrop CMS, the community continuation of Drupal 7, alongside them. Modern Drupal 10 and 11 run on the Advanced and Pro tiers, sized for what production Drupal actually demands. Every tier carries the same promise; the tier sets the capacity behind it.
Nothing to configure before you start: Valkey (the open Redis-class cache) just works, nothing to do; New Relic monitoring is one licence key in a control file plus one line in the site's INI; Composer and Drush are ready to use. And when you want control, it runs deep: all 12 PHP versions, from legacy 5.6 and 7.0 to the latest 8.5, switch per site or globally.
No workflow is imposed here. Closed platforms decide how you must work, pipeline to toolchain to dashboard; on BOA everything is recommended and nothing is required: manage your sites as you see fit, whether through Ægir's panel, through git and Composer, or entirely by hand over secure FTP (FTPS), with no git and no Composer required.
Your developers get the site on their own machines: ddev-boa, our public DDEV add-on, pulls a hosted site's database and files into a local DDEV project through the site owner's own limited shell login, with no root anywhere in the loop and nothing new to set up on the server. The pull only ever reads, so the hosted site is never touched and your code stays in git where it belongs.
Getting your site here is our work rather than yours: a plain database-and-files handover, an export from your current host, or a whole classic Ægir server through aegir2boa, and on a hosted plan we run the move and the verification for you. We provide the tools and deep control. How you use them stays your call.
On a hosted plan the unit is the engine: your own isolated copy of the full hosting system, with its own Ægir control panel (the open-source dashboard for managing Drupal sites), walled off from every other customer. The tier scales the engine's capacity and the support behind it, never the continuity promise, which is identical on every one. Three tiers below, cheapest first. Each links to its full plan specs.

Main pricing is in EUR. The GBP and USD plans are priced independently for their regions (running costs differ between locations), so they are not conversions of the EUR prices.
Updated pricing applies to new and renewed subscriptions from 1 February 2026.
Hand us the update treadmill. On a Managed plan we run your Drupal codebase updates, security releases the same day, through our tailored update automation, so version churn stops being your team's job.
