This refreshing and Biblically sound Christian podcast really helps in this time of American despair. And I’m sorry Phil is sick, but it is so much easier to listen without his constant snark. And I love snark. Just, well, read the room.

This podcast really helps me think through things and consider what appropriate Christian responses look like.

Governor Cox's actual words... "For 33 hours, I was praying that if this had to happen here that it wouldn't be one of us (a resident of Utah) -- that somebody drove from another state, somebody came from another country. Sadly, that prayer was not answered the way I hoped for." Phil Vischer's hyperbolic and divisive sowing of potential seeds of offense by misrepresenting and misquoting Cox's words was glaring..."Yeah the only questionable thing was when he revealed that he was hoping it was an outsider who had done it, an immigrant or a Muslim." That was not at all what Governor Cox said. Thank goodness, Mr. Jethani pushed back. Who is the real Conflict Entrepreneur?? Honestly, is Mr. Vischer just in a constant state of hypervigilance and fight flight, heavy on the fight as a keyboard/microphone warrior because of all of the social media vitriol and personal stressors that he is involved in? Or is it a provocative schtick that's just not funny? Why would Mr. Vischer say what he said and add provocative and offensive implications specific to certain populations of people that Governor Cox did not say--doing exactly what Vischer was confronting by addressing the whole idea of conflict entrepreneurs??

Wish they could be more balanced, but instead they are just critical of MAGA. This feels like a MAGA-hating podcast. Th rhetoric is hard to listen to unless you join in on the problems with the right. I do appreciate the interviews they do with authors & thought leaders that edify the body of Christ.
