Terms of Use

Effective date: July 20, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Prayroom mobile application, prayroom.io, and related services (together, the “Service”) provided by Vera Unity, Inc. (“Vera Unity”, “Prayroom”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Contact: hello@prayroom.io
Address: 919 North Market Street, Suite 950, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, USA

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where that permission is required by law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. What Prayroom provides

Prayroom is a Christian prayer community that helps people publish prayer requests and pray together online at the same time. Features may include guest or registered accounts, prayer requests, live prayer sessions, blessings, translations, prepared or generated prayers, reminders, and participation metrics.

Prayroom is not a church, clergy member, healthcare provider, counselor, emergency service, law firm, or financial adviser. The Service and its prayer content are intended for spiritual support and community participation, not professional advice. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional instead of relying on Prayroom.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may use an email and password, a supported third-party sign-in provider, or a guest account where available. Your relationship with Apple, Google, Meta, or another sign-in provider is governed separately by that provider’s terms.

You may request account deletion in the Account and data deletion section of our Privacy Policy. Merely deleting the app from a device does not delete an account.

4. Prayer requests and community content

“User Content” means prayer requests, names, photos, blessings, messages, reports, and other material you submit to the Service.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Vera Unity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, moderate, display, distribute, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This license includes making a prayer request available to other Prayroom users and producing translations or generated prayer text from it. It ends when the content and related account data are deleted, except for limited backup, legal, security, and previously authorized uses.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content. When a prayer request concerns another person, use care and respect their privacy. Do not submit another person’s photo, location, health information, or other sensitive details without a lawful and appropriate basis.

Community content is visible to other users. Do not submit material you expect to remain confidential. We may remove, restrict, translate, or moderate User Content, but we are not obligated to review every submission and do not endorse every statement made by a user.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate law or another person’s rights;
  • threaten, curse, harass, exploit, or wish harm on another person;
  • publish sexual or explicit material, unlawful content, or private information without permission;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with an organization;
  • send spam, advertising, scams, or fraudulent requests;
  • interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • distribute malware or attempt to bypass security or moderation controls; or
  • use Prayroom content or user information to profile, target, shame, or discriminate against a person based on religion, health, or another sensitive trait.

We may investigate reports and take proportionate action, including removing content, limiting features, suspending an account, or reporting conduct where legally required.

6. AI-generated content and translations

Prayroom may use artificial intelligence to translate User Content, generate prayer text, and assist with moderation. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for a particular denomination or circumstance. Generated prayers are not authoritative doctrine or professional advice. Review content using your own judgment and report serious problems to us.

You may not intentionally use the Service to make an AI provider process unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.

7. Communications and notifications

We may send transactional messages needed to operate and protect the Service, such as authentication, security, prayer-session, or account notices. With your permission or as otherwise allowed by law, we may send prayer reminders, community notifications, news, or promotional messages. You can manage available preferences in the app, device settings, or an unsubscribe mechanism.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content created by Vera Unity, is owned by Vera Unity or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual- property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

If you believe material in the Service infringes copyright, email hello@prayroom.io with identification of the work, the material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy and authority made under penalty of perjury, and your signature.

9. Third-party services and app stores

The Service relies on third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices, and we are not responsible for independent third-party content or conduct.

If you downloaded Prayroom from Apple App Store or Google Play, you must also comply with the applicable store terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for operating Prayroom or providing support for it, except as their own terms require.

10. Service changes and availability

We may add, remove, or change features and may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise that every feature, prayer session, translation, or notification will always be available, uninterrupted, or error- free.

At the effective date of these Terms, Prayroom does not offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced, we will present the applicable price, billing, cancellation, and refund terms before purchase.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and dispute provisions.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Vera Unity disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not guarantee a particular spiritual, personal, medical, or other outcome from a prayer, prayer request, generated text, or use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vera Unity and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, goodwill, profits, or opportunity, arising from the Service or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vera Unity’s aggregate liability arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid Vera Unity for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict- of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections and rights available in your place of residence remain unaffected.

Before filing a claim, you and Vera Unity agree to try in good faith to resolve the matter by contacting the other party. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a small-claims process where available.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or law. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. When a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

16. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Vera Unity may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Vera Unity concerning the Service.
