Le Feu De L'Eau

In the 1960s, Ian Baird pioneered an innovative underwater process for creating one-of-a-kind candles in Venice Beach, CA. Inspired by the "fantasy candle" movement of the late '60s, his unique approach laid the foundation for what would later become Le Feu De L'Eau — a name symbolizing the union of fire and water. Wendy Polish, his daughter, continued and refined his vision, evolving his original creation into the high-end candle line it is today.

Founded in 1968, Le Feu De L’Eau is a family-owned, Los Angeles-based candle studio co-founded by Wendy Polish and Jo Strettell. Together with a talented team of artisans, they create and ship handcrafted candles from their studios in Los Angeles and Atascadero, CA.
