It's free-to-play, but in the end there are so many better free-to-play battle royales these days that Fortnite isn't even worth a nostalgic look. I understand that its impact, but that doesn't make it good.

Mario Tennis: Power Tour is one of the strangest and greatest things to ever happen to Mario sports games. The main difference is that instead of focusing on the Mario crew, the game focuses on Clay, Ace, and a whole slew of random characters. Not only this, but they have added a bunch of RPG-style stats and mini-games to increase those stats. The gameplay is complex without being overly flashy and keeps the main game of tennis at the heart. All this with a mild story and a great finale makes this game stand out among the rest.

As far as racing gets, this is top tier. The tracks are beautiful and the music outstanding! Putting Mario Kart on the Switch was a God send and honestly this system was built for a game like Mario Kart. This Mario Kart doesn't feel as deep as 7 or Double Dash to me, but it's still a great time! 12 grand prixs keep the game varied and interesting. Downsides are that the game gets old quickly and the character select screen is the least interesting in a while. Great party game and would recommend for every Switch owner.

What is there to say that hasn't been said? The highlights are the art and the music and that's obvious from the trailers. The game does lack content in my opinion, but really is worth the trip down this unique and meticulously created game.

Minecraft is already a classic among all gamers. This game shines most when it's played with friends just trying to make a living together. I always find my self coming back to this game and I'm sure I'll be playing it for years to come.

Playing this game with the homies at midnight is the perfect night. I find myself always coming back to this game because of how simple yet complex the gameplay is and that I can play cross-platform with friends. Although it's coming out as a free-to-play, it truly is worth the $20 buy-in.
