The car as driven by Sebastien Bourdais in the 2007 Champ car series for the Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing team.
The Champ car series was the successor to the CART series which ran alongside the IRL. Sebastien Bourdais absolutely dominated this series in which he won all the championships while the series was running from the 2004 - 2007.
After claiming his 4th consecutive title he moved to Formula 1 racing for Toro Rosso for two seasons.
The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing the tiles on the side of the cockpit. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.
Minifig is NOT included in the instructions or parts list.
The sticker sheet can be purchased from Ultimate Collector Stickers for an additional cost. No sticker sheet pdf file is included when buying the instructions.
