Is there any way to determine the spares only for bag #15 (or bags #1-14)? I generally compare my spares when I finish building to make sure I didn't miss a piece in the build. However, since I haven't opened bag #15, I do not know what spares that will provide me. Thanks.

Why does the sign say "Jose's Inn" when none of the included minifigs is named Jose? At first I thought it might be a reference to the fan designer, but his name is Pablo Sánchez... any ideas, anyone?

  Ya know, I thought I remembered seeing something about that in the instructions manual, but I just read through all the designer intros and stuff at the beginning and couldn't find it. Also checked the page where you add that printed tile thinking there might be a note there, but nope, maybe I imagined it!
  The original ideas model does have the old castle inn sign, and the designer mentioned that he dedicated the project to his father-- maybe Jose was his father's name? (I am just guessing at this point)

Got it. Had to. Never got any pirate ship as a child, I remember I made a trade with some friend something from adventure sets for 3 or 4 pirate minifigs and buit a ship out of normal parts I own... I had to buy this one!
Anyway. Can anybody can tell me where the heck is monkey? There should be monkey. Why they didn't include a monkey. Need to order it now xD

This was a great build! There's a hidden treasure chest along with the half buried idol from the old King Kakuna set. I love the idea that the old Black Seas Barracuda shipwrecked there and never found the treasure.

This is a tremendous set with a ton of good details. I highly recommend it for anyone who was a fan of classic pirates theme from the 80s and 90s.

  1602 if I did the calculations/set correctly. I recently created this as a B set (to be able to do a build from the other parts).
  B Set submitted by me
