DT La La Land Crafts: New baby

Hi crafty friends, 

Hope you had a nice weekend. Today I want to share my first card as a DT for La La Land Crafts! I am so excited to be a part of the team of talented crafters!
I am looking forward to playing with all the gorgeous products- I have been in love with all of those pretty dies and stamps for a long time now!

Det første kortet jeg har laget er et bestillingskort med Sleeping Baby Marci. 

Here's my first card using the super cute Sleeping Baby Marci.
You can  find it, along with lots of inspiration from the talented ladies of the design team, over at the

I used papers by Maja Design, the Vintage Baby collection.  I used my sewing machine on the edges of the design papers- but no distressing the edges on this card (I am having withdrawal symptoms lol)

I stamped with pale brown ink to keep the soft look on the sweet Sleeping Baby Marci.

Jeg stemplet med lyst brunt blekk for å få et litt mykere utseende. 

Copic colors used: 

Skin/hud: E11, E00, E000, E70, R20(cheeks)

Soft pink/rosa: V000, RV91, RV000, C1

White/hvitt: W3, W, W00

DT Copic Marker Norge: Joy Fold card with mini- tutorial

Hi Crafty friends, 

I have some coloring inspiration to show you today. Every week all summer long,  one of the DT girls will have some new inspiration for you over at Copic Marker Norge. I am first up, and I made this babycard using the Joy Fold. I also have added an step by step description if you need one. If you would rather have a video tutorial, you can google "joy fold card" and lots of options pop up on you tube.

Papers are Maja Design, Flowers by WOC, Pearls by Staz. Charms from ebay and I used a Martha Steward edge punch for the Doily Lace. I also added some cheese cloth under the image. 

Here's how I made the card:  

You will need cardstock, design papers and a colored image, and embellishments of your choice. You will also need an edge punch.

Cut 1 x 4 1/2 by 9 inch cardstock.

and 1 x 3 1/2 by 9 inch. This will be your card base.

Score at 4 1/2 inch on the small piece (middle)

Score at 3 1/2 inc on the large piece of cardboard. Fold your pieces using a bonefolder or your hand.

Use your punch as shown.

 After you add the designpaper, glue the pieces togheter as shown in the photos.

 Cut the patterned paper and glue them on the cardboard before you attach the pieces together. Add your image and decorate the card.

I used the Maja Design Baby collection to decorate the inside too. So cute!

DT Copic Marker Europe- card for a new baby

Hello crafty friends, 

Here's a card I made for Copic Marker Europe this week. It's a card for a new baby boy. I love this Mo Manning image, you can use it for so many occasions, and I decided it could be a boy or a girl, depending on the colors used.

I made the colors in the colored image neutral so I could go either way... this time it's a boy!

I used Pion Design papers and some sweet newborn charms and sentiments. Pretty simple decoration really. Dies by Magnolia, Spellbinders and Memorybox. Flowers by WOC and Kort og Godt. 

The image is Baby Fairy with Ladybug digi from Mo's Digital Pencil. 

Copics used:

Skin: E13-11-21-000, E93, W5

Wings and clothes: W7-3-1-00

Hair: E44-43-41-40

Ladybug: E18-R27-24-22

Ground: W5-3-1-00

Babycard- Double zig zag card

Hi peeps, 

Hope your days are good! I made this baby card for a friend who just had a beautiful little baby girl. 

Sooo cute, love the smell of that sweet little bundle of beauty! 

Jeg har laget et babykort til noen venner av familien som akkurat har fått en nydlig jentababy. Helt skjønn! Det er noe med lukten av bitte små babyer... herlig.

Papers are Maja Design from the beautiful Sofiero collection. I used a Martha Steward punch along the edges and WOC roses. Charms from stash. I used spellbinder dies for the oval in front. The sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad. 

I used a tutorial by the talented Marianne to make this zig zag card (click on her name to get to tutorial).  (don't know what happened in the photo-editing, the pink roses are actually the same color as the pink in the papers....lol)

De nydelige papirene er fra Maja Designs Sofiero kolleksjon. Punchen er fra Martha Stewart, de ovale dien'e fra Spellbinders og blomstene fra WOC. Charmsen er bestilt på Epla og de søte en inch tekststemplene er fra Norsk Stempelblad AS. Jeg har brukt en tutorial fra kreative Marianne til å lage kortet.

 Here it is again with the belt made to close the card.

Peek-a-boo card for a new baby

Good evening crafters!

Here's a card I made for a new little man I know. My friend had a gorgeous little baby boy a while back, and I made this for my very first visit.

I mad this from Norma of FromMyCraftroom's template, I just made a few changes in size and layout. Very clean and simple.....

Papers are Maja Design- Vintage Autumn Basic. I used Spellbinder Scalloped circle dies and Lifestyle Crafts circle dies for the window, and Filegree corner dies by La La Land crafts. The letters are by Panduro. 

The Magnolia image is colored with distress inks.

The sentiment inside is from Kreativ Hobby.

Midweek Magnolias #65

Good morning peeps, 

I'm checking in this morning to let you know about the new challenge over at the Midweek Magnolias.

This week our theme is:

Favorite colors

A friend of mine had a beautiful baby boy this week, so this is a card I made for the very first visit to the hospital. One of my favorite color combos is blue, beige and white, so here it is: 

 I used my new Silhouette to make the box for the card. I added a few details, and those lovely Pion Papers. I made a little card to fit inside. 

The Magnolia stamp is a Mini baby Edwin. I colored it with distress inks.

The flowers are by WOC and the dies used are Lifestyle crafts.

Here it is again.  The stamp on the card is another mini Magnolia and a sentiment by Kreativ hobby. I also used some of that lovely shabby seam binding from the live and love craft store. Hope you like it!

Live & Love Craft Inspiration- Baby!

Hi friends and followers!

This is my second post today, please scroll down for my Midweek Magnolias card!

This week our theme over at the Live & Love Craft Challenge and Inspiration blog is "Baby". 

Of course I had to go and have a pink bonanza...lol.

Here is my card for you:

I actually used Christmas papers on this , the papers are Pion Designs Angels Choir 6x6, with the beautiful soft pink I needed. I used Magnolia Doohickey's dies: Heart Swirl, The scalloped stitched lace and the Mini Doily. The die behind the image is from Qick Kutz. 

The Magnoilia image is the Baby Tilda. I colored it with distress ink pads and markers. I have a tutorial on how to make her legs stick out of the diecut right here.

The flowers are the Rolled Roses from Kort og Godt, I put som Melissa Frances pearls in the middle of each one.  I also used the Vintage Trinklet Heart Pins. The gorgeous ribbons are the oyster creme Rhinestone Lace, and the pink Organza Roses Trim. The charm is the L♥ve charm.

Theese super cute charms are the Baby Dummy and Baby Pram.

Here's my card:

I used papers from the lovely Maja Design Vintage summer basic. I Used Magnolia Doohickey's Die - Scalloped Stitch Lace and So Wrapped Lovely, QK:.Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Doily Circles die. Cheese cloth, charms, pearls and wax thread from stash. I also used my sewing machine and distress ink for the edges. I created the banner by cutting peaces of the DP. Noe dies there:) The stars are some left overs from my previous hobby: making jewelry. 

I colored sweet Baby Edwin, from the Magnolia princes and princesses collection, with copics. I used: Skin: E13-11-00-000, R20, Hair: YR 24, E 47- 35- 31, Clothes: B93-91, blender, shoes, shadow and crown: C3-1-00.
