This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on sevk.io (the website and platform) and how you can control them.

We aim to follow privacy by design and data minimisation. The dashboard and API surfaces (app.sevk.io, api.sevk.io) use only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies required to provide the services you explicitly request (e.g., login, session security). The dashboard also loads Sentry for frontend error tracking; Sentry can use cookies and browser storage to maintain session continuity for error reports and replays, with text and form input redaction enabled.

On the public marketing site (sevk.io) we additionally use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate page-level traffic. GA4 only sees data from the marketing site; it does not run on the dashboard or the API, and no personal data from your account, billing flow, or your customers is sent to Google.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and other device identifiers used to keep you logged in, prevent fraud, and remember essential settings.

2. Consent approach (KVKK / ePrivacy-GDPR)

The dashboard and API surfaces use only strictly necessary technologies, so we do not show cookie consent banners on those surfaces. The marketing site loads Google Analytics 4 with the configuration described in Section 3.4; if applicable consent rules require it in your jurisdiction, you may decline GA4 via your browser's Do Not Track / privacy settings (see Section 6) without affecting your access to the marketing site.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use

The first three subsections cover strictly necessary technologies on the dashboard and API. The last two cover optional diagnostics on the dashboard and aggregate analytics on the marketing site only.

3.1 Authentication & Security

We use authentication/session mechanisms to keep you signed in, protect your account, and prevent misuse and fraud. Session technologies typically expire after inactivity or logout.

3.2 Payments (Paddle)

If you use paid features, our payment provider may set essential functional and security technologies during checkout to validate transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with financial security requirements.

3.3 Preferences (Local Storage / Similar Tech)

We may store limited UI preferences locally on your device (e.g., theme, language, layout) to provide your requested experience. These are not used for cross-site tracking.

3.4 Frontend Error Tracking (Sentry — Dashboard Only)

The dashboard (app.sevk.io) loads Sentry to capture frontend errors and performance traces so we can debug production issues. Sentry can use cookies and browser storage to maintain session continuity for error reports and session replay. Replay sessions redact all text and form inputs by default, and we configure Sentry to avoid sensitive form input. Sentry does not run on the marketing site or the API.

3.5 Aggregate Analytics (Google Analytics 4 — Marketing Site Only)

The public marketing site (sevk.io) uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate page traffic. GA4 sets cookies and uses local storage on the marketing site only. It does not run on the dashboard, the API, or the playground, and it has no access to your account, billing data, or your customers' data. See our Subprocessors page for the GA4 entry.

4. Cookie List

We maintain an up-to-date list of strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies in our documentation and/or within the application settings.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies via your browser settings (block, delete, or restrict). Note: Blocking strictly necessary technologies will likely prevent core features such as login, account security, and checkout from functioning.

6. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not run marketing cookies or cross-site advertising on any sevk.io property, and the dashboard and API never run third-party analytics tags. On the marketing site, you can block GA4 via your browser's privacy/extension settings; access to the marketing site itself is not affected.

7. Emails and tracking pixels (Scope clarification)

This Cookie Policy applies to cookies and similar technologies on the sevk.io website/platform. Emails sent by our customers may include features such as open/click measurement (e.g., pixels/links) depending on the customer's configuration and legal basis. Such email-level measurement is governed by the customer's notices and our DPA/Terms, not by this Cookie Policy.

8. Updates to this Notice

We may update this notice to reflect product changes. If we introduce non-essential cookies (e.g., optional analytics), we will update this notice and implement a consent banner / preference manager before placing such cookies.
